Voluntarily Causes Hurt
A Case FIR No 87 U/S 115(2), 118(2), 126(2), 351(2), 351(3) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of one juvenile Ramdarbar Chandigarh against Lakshay R/o # Ramdarbar Chandigarh who stabbed complainant on hand with a knife type weapon on 29.04.2025 at Phase 2 Ramdarbar Chandigarh. Complainant got injured and admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
A Case FIR No 24 U/S 126(2), 115(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 49 Chandigarh on the complaint of (Prisoner Bharat R/o Model Jail Burail, Chandigarh) in which he stated that he is lodged in Model Jail Burail in Case FIR No 32/2021 U/S 302, 34 IPC Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. On 30.04.2025, he was playing cards with Bhola in Jail, he got into an argument with Bhola meanwhile another prisoner janender came and started using abusive language when he stopped them, Bhola brought a tap from the washroom of barrack and Janender alias Ajay attacked on his face with that tap. Due to which one of his teeth broke and his upper lip got injured. The jail staff admitted him to GMCH-32 Chandigarh for treatment. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Cheating
A Case FIR No 51 U/S 316, 319, 318(2), 336, 338, 340 BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ramanjt Singh R/o # 3417 Sector 27/D Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated the complainant of Rs. 12,66,000/- through online by asking OTP. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Bigamy/Cheating
A Case FIR No 35 U/S 318, 82 BNS has been registered in Police Station Manimajra Chandigarh on the complaint of Hament Kumar R/o # 782/1 Govindpura Manimajra against Sonia Oli R/o # Govindpura Manimajra Chandigarh and others, in which he alleged that she and her mother are habitual to use the marriage institution as their profession. He stated that she solemnized marriage with him on 30.11.2024 as per Hindu rights. During inquiry, it has come on record that she has already married with Sagar in 2021 and again married Hament in 2024 without seeking any divorce as they were treating the bond of marriage as a profession. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 28 U/S 125, 281 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 19 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector 19 Chandigarh against driver of Ertiga car no CH01-BE-9911 which to complainant scooter no PB 65N-0191 near 18/19/20/21 Chowk on dated 20.04.2025. Complainant sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Arms Act
A Case FIR No 86 U/S 115(2), 140(2), 308(2), 351(2), 3(5) BNS & 25/54/59 Arms act has been registered in Police Station Sector-31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ramesh Kumar R/o # 1999, Phase-2 Chandigarh (age-20 yrs) who stated that he is residing and student of Logowal Group College, Derabassi, Disst. Mohali (Pb). On 29.04.2025, he was waiting of auto near power grid Haloomajra Chandigarh, a white colour swift no PB 10DS- 5078 came there and three persons came out side from this car, they forcibly sat him in their car, after that they beaten and abused him in car. They shown him a pistol and threatened him that he work as a drugs dealer and today they will be send him to jail. If he wanted to be saved, he should arrange Rs. 5 lakh and he told his sister to arrange the rupees. After 1-2 hours, his sister came at Kharar and gave them Rs. 1, 30,000/- and saved him.
