CHANDIGARH,15.06.24-The Pixie Summer Camp concluded its vibrant and enriching program with a grand valedictory function held today. The 10 day camp offered a diverse array of workshops including art, mandala art, puppetry, tie and dye, chess, clay murals, and pot painting. It catered to enthusiastic participants aged 4 to 13 years, both boys and girls, providing them with an exceptional platform to explore and develop their creative skills. The camp was organized by Panjab university Staff Club in collaboration with Social Substance and Camel India.
Throughout the camp, eminent artists and experts in various fields delivered hands-on training and insightful sessions, ensuring that each child received quality instruction and inspiration. Their guidance was instrumental in helping the young participants discover new talents and refine their artistic abilities. Invited Resource persons for the camp included
Dr. Rakesh Mohindra received participants on all days with fun activities and softskill groomed discipline among participants. Ms. Puneet Madan taught them ‘how to paint without bursh’. Mr. Subhasis Neogi enthralled the participants with Vegetable Puppets. Dev brought theatre to the hall and Ms. Jasleen taught Mandala Art. Eshit and Dishant, the duo of brothers imparted chess skills to the participants. Dr. Arun Bansal glued all the things together and provided administrative support.
Ms. Aditi Mohindra, the camp coordinator mentioned that the camp was entirely successful and exceeded expectations. She is planning for another camp soon.

The valedictory function was a joyous occasion, celebrating the achievements and progress of the participants. It featured an exhibition showcasing the impressive artworks and projects created by the children, reflecting their hard work and creativity. Parents, guardians, and guests were delighted to witness the remarkable output of the young talents.
