Accident

A case FIR No. 94, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sahil R/o # 11, Khuda Ali Sher, Chandigarh against driver of unknown car who hit complainant's M/cycle No. HP-20G-8749 near Cricket Stadium Chowk on 07-05-2024. Complainant got injured and admitted to GMSH-16. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

A case FIR No. 55, U/S 324, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Chandigarh who alleged that Raju and Sagyam they quarreled with the complainant and her mother at her house on 20-05-2024. Complainant and her mother both got injured and admitted to GMCH-32. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 42, u/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered on the complaint of Bhanu R/o # 862, Sec. 38-A Chandigarh (age-52 years) who reported that in November 2023 he received a call from unknown lady who introduced herself from Pantheon Vanture, a UK Based company and insisted him to download mobile app for stock trading and cheated total Rs. 34,21,000/-.

 One PO involved in 08 years old case of cheating.

 One PO involved in theft case, in police net. In a major breakthrough,

PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP U.T. Chandigarh and SP City, UT, Chandigarh in the supervision of Sh. Dilsher Singh, Dy. SP DCC and team headed by Sh. Hari Om Sharma, Inspector/Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest proclaimed offenders/absconders.

Detail of arrested person: -

1. The two POs in case FIR No. 209 dated 15.12.2020, U/s 147,148,149,323, 324, 452, 458, 506, 34 IPC, PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh has been arrested: a. The state case PO namely Rahul S/o Bhima Singh R/o # 3117, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh b. The state case PO namely Bittu S/o Bhima R/o Jhuggi Bhatha Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Luxmi Chand R/o #53, Bhatha Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, who stated that he alongwith his wife was outside of the house. They noticed that their known boys namely Amit, Sonu, Rahul, Bittu were coming alongwith with other 04 boys to their house. They were carrying wooden lathis and bricks. They attacked on them due some disputes occurred few days back. Due to this attack they got injured. Later the case was registered against accused, who got absent before the court and were declared proclaimed offenders by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Chinu Sharma, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 13.05.2024. The accused were produced before the Hon’ble concerned Court.

2. The state case PO namely Karan Bhatia @ Karan Deep S/o Surinder Bhatia R/o G-115/A, Sector-9, Vijay Nagar, Gaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has been arrested in case FIR No. 187 dated 04.11.2015, U/s 420, IPC, PS-3, Chandigarh.

The case was registered on the complaint of Deepika Dua, Assistant General Manager IDBI Bank, SCO No. 162-163, GF, Sector-9-C, Chandigarh, who reported that person namely Karan Bhatia S/o Surinder Bhatia and Surinder Bhatia S/o Parkash Chand committed purported fraud and cheating with IDBI bank. Later case was registered against accused, Karan Bhatia @ Karan Deep got absent before the Hon’ble Court. He was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Ajay, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 31.01.2024. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble concerned Court.

3. The state case PO namely Aman S/o Late Sh. Bansi Lal R/o # 62, room No. 27, Village Dhanas has been arrested in case FIR No. 40 dated 27.03.2023, U/s 380, 411, 454 IPC, PS-17, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Deepak Gaur R/o # 1503, Sector 23-B,Chandiarh, who stated that on 27.03.2022 he went to his office and his wife alongwith children went to see her ailing father. At about 6.00 PM in the evening when they returned home the lock of bedroom door and almiras were broken and about 15 tola gold and Rs. 70000/- cash was missing from his house. Later case was registered against accused, who got absent before the Hon’ble Court. He was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Amaninder Singh, CJM, Chandigarh vide order dated 10.11.2023. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble concerned Court.
