MAHENDERGARH,10.05.24-An expert talk on “Developing Pharmacological and Dietary Interventions Promoting Brain Health” was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. Dr. Vipan Kumar Parihar, Associate Professor and Dean, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hajipur, Bihar was the invited speaker in the event. Dr. Parihar, renowned for his groundbreaking research in neuropharmacology, elucidated upon the intricate relationship between dietary interventions and brain health.

Addressing a diverse audience comprising faculty members, researchers, and students, Dr. Kumar highlighted the novel pharmacotherapeutic strategies aimed at targeting molecular pathways implicated in cognitive function, offering insights into promising avenues for drug discovery and development. He also focused the key importance of industry academia collaboration in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University appreciated the initiative taken by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences to organize such events specially for M. Pharm students for exploring their career in the field of neuropharmacology. Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Head of the Department, extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Vipan Kumar for his illuminating discourse and looks forward to continued collaboration in advancing the frontiers of neuroscience and pharmacology for the betterment of human health.

Organizing secretary of the event Dr. Ashok Jangra said that this expert talk is arranged especially for M Pharm students and PhD scholars of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He also said that this program was organised to inculcate scientific thinking and aptitude among young research scholars. Other faculty members of the department, Dr. Sumit Kumar, Dr. Manisha Pandey and Dr. Tarun Kumar were also attended the guest lecture.
