MAHENDERGAR, 23.04.24-HDepartment of Psychology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized an online Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) program on 'Needs of Special Choldre: Issues, Challenges and Intervention' with the collaboration of Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Prof. Tankehswar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University emphasized on the need of organizing such events not only for the Department of Psychology, but for the community as a whole. Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor emphasized about the importance and relevance of the topic.
Prof. Vishwanand Yadav, Course Coordinator welcomed all the participants and introduced the topic of the program and Prof. Payal K. Chandel, Head of the Department welcomed the speakers. This program was attended by students of Psychology and other professionals and special educators from various Institutions from all over India. Dr. Dweep Chand Singh, Mentor, Professor, Amity University, U.P.; Mr. Deepak, who is a 'scientist C' and a Clinical Psychologist; Dr. Satyam, Head Department of Clinical Psychology, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. Priyanka, Clinical Psychologist discussed the challenges for parents, special children, and service providers. Experts discussed the importance of life management skills for the special children. Lastly the session was concluded by Prof. Vishwanand Yadav, by thanking the speakers for taking out their valuable time in contributing the knowledge base for our participants.
