Cheating

A case FIR No. 32, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady Resident of Chandigarh who reported that unknown person cheated with her of Rs. 21,500/- through online transaction to provide job. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 30, U/S 420, 467, 468, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Nitendra Tiwari M/s Viruoso Netsoft Pvt. Ltd, Plot No. 10, 3^RD Floor, IT Park Chandigarh who reported that Nitin Kumar, Ankit Kumar, Ayush Bhatia and others have cheated complainant of Rs. 23,75,000/- on 18.10.2018 and 15.09.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold ornaments and misc. items from her residence 10-12 days before. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 70, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint Manish Kalia R/o Flat No. 6, Tolf Floor, Vatika Home LIC Colony, Kharar Distt. Mohali (Pb) against driver Sunny R/o # 537, Sector.22-A, Chandigarh rider of Activa No. CH-01BT-8311 which hit the complainant (pedestrian) near Kiran Cinema Light Point on 14.04.2024. Complainant got injured and admitted to GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Abetment to suicide

A case FIR No. 41, U/S 306, 452 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Chandigarh who alleged that Govind R/o # 637, Sector7-B, Chandigarh (age-26 years) who used to harass complainant’s daughter due to which she committed suicide. Accused has been arrested later on. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector-46C, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person snatched away complainant’s gold earrings from a park in front of Govt. High School, Sector-46-C, Chandigarh on 18.04.2024. A case FIR No. 51, U/S 379-B IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Om Parkash R/o # 1268, Sector-37-B, Chandigarh (age-85 yrs) who reported that three unknown boys tried to snatch cash from him near # 1401, Sector.37-B, Chandigarh on 18.04.2024. A case FIR No. 68, U/S 379-A, 34, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
