Chandigarh, April 17 - Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya today visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple located in Sector-12A, Panchkula district on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami and offered prayers and took the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary and President, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Sector 12A, Sh. TVSN Prasad and his wife Dr. Sridevi were also present. Sh. TVSN Prasad welcomed the Governor on his arrival at the temple.

The Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. On this occasion, puja was performed by the priests who came from Sri Venkateswara Swamy Tirupati Balaji Mandir, Kurukshetra.

Shri Seetha-Rama kalyanam was celebrated in a grand manner in the temple, in which hundreds of devotees participated. This age-old tradition holds immense cultural and religious significance. After Shri Seetha-Rama Kalyanam, representatives of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple honored the Governor by presenting him with a shawl.

On this occasion, DCP Himadree Kaushik, Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Sh. Gagandeep and a large number of devotees were present.
