CHANDIGARH,05.04.24-A radio talk programme with an emphasis on Project “Arpan” was aired by Enactus, SSBUICET, a group of more than 100+ Panjab University students, in association with Municipal Corporation Chandigarh (MCC) and P.U. radio station Jyotirgamaya 91.2 MHz. Enactus SSUICET is a student chapter of an international non-profit organisation dedicated to using social entrepreneurship to advance positive social change.

The radio talk helped the team in reaching the masses promoting the use of natural products made from floral waste collected from temples under project “Arpan” started by Municipal Corporation Chandigarh conveyed Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor, Enactus and State Vice president of Corporate Sustainability Council, Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CSC WICCI), Chandigarh.

Kiran, Vice-President of Enactus team team gave an explanation of how Project UDAY aims to empower 1,385 underprivileged women from Nayagaon, lessen the negative environmental effects of plastic trash and significantly advance the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN. The aim of Project Dhra is to revive the age-old Indian pottery art and uplift the potter community of Maloya, told Aarzoo Dhiman, Vice President of team.

Vice-President of the team, Aditi Parkash explained that "Arpan" is a creative project that encourages sustainable practices by repurposing flower waste to make environmentally friendly samrani cups, agarbatti and dhoop.

Mahi Jha, Director Projects stated that radio talk shows are one of the most engaging forms of communication. With a commitment to excellence, P.U. radio station Jyotirgamaya serves as a platform for awareness generation, education and experience sharing with the community.

Shubham Dhiman, President, Enactus team told the last three radio talk shows have gone in the correct direction and the team is optimistic that today's talk will have the same effect.
