Action against Gambling/Satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Ajay R/o # 1475, New Indira Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, Age 26 years while he was playing satta at back side park Kheda Mandir, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 02.04.2024. Total cash Rs. 2600/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 22, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested in theft cases

A case FIR No. 38, U/S 380, 411 IPC & 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mangla Singh, Security Guard, Sancheti Pvt. Ltd. Plot No. 102, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh who alleged that a person Sonu Singh R/o # 646, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh, Age 32 Years was apprehended while he was trying to run after stealing 60 Nips of English wine and 21 nips of country liquor from said plot on 02.04.2024. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Jaspal R/o # 169, Ward No. 12, Sodio Ka Mohalla, Kurali (PB) Age 26 Years who was apprehended with stolen Splendor Motor Cycle CH-01BW-9574 near EWS, RC-1 School, Maloya, Chandigarh on 02-04-2024. The motorcycle was found stolen from the PS-36 area in records. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

A case FIR No. 44, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Zirakpur, PB who alleged that Surjit Singh, Sandeep and other person all parking employees quarreled and beaten complainant and her son Surender Kumar at parking, PGI, Chandigarh on 01.04.2024. Complainant sustained injuries and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A case FIR No. 45, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector-15, Chandigarh who reported that three unknown persons on a motorcycle snatched away mobile phone from complainant near # 1116, Sector-15, Chandigarh on 02.04.2024. Investigation of the case is in progress

Jasbir Singh, DSP Operations and the leadership of In-charge, Operations Cell Inspector Sher Singh succeeded in arrest of South African region lady namely Neh Charlotte D/o late Nkahsa Jonnas Present address Nawada, Phase-IV, New Delhi Age-35 Years permanent Address Locality Bamenda, City Literal, Cameroon Country, Central Africa under NDPS Act and 100 grams of Heroin has been recovered from her possession. BRIEF FACTS On dated 02.04.2024, In connection with Upcoming Up-Coming Lok Sabha Elections-2024, while patrolling in the area of UT Chandigarh ASI Surjit Singh 3069/Cp, HC Narinder Pal 641/Cp, Ct Gurpreet Singh 4607/CP, L/C Paramjeet kaur 2076/CP of Operations Cell apprehended a African lady Neh Charlotte D/o late Nkahsa Jonnas Present address Nawada, Phase-IV, New Delhi Age-35 Years permanent Address Locality Bamenda, City Literal, Cameroon Country, Central Africa from road towards sector-52 Petrol Pump Village Kajheri U.T., Chandigarh and from her 100 grams Heroin has been recovered. In this regard case FIR No. 63 dated 02.04.2024 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been got registered in PS 36 Chandigarh. During investigation she revealed that she came at India on tourist VISA in October-2023. Further investigation of the case is in progress to ascertain the source of recovered drugs. Today she has been produced before the learned area court for further proceeding. Chandigarh Police PS-ANTF has achieved a major success

Chandigarh Police PS-ANTF has achieved a major success in breaking the backbone of the international drug syndicate by arresting one more main accused Krishan Singh s/o Chhinder Singh R/o Village-Laluwala, PS-Makhu, District-Ferozepur, Punjab age-27, years. The breakthrough was achieved as a follow up of the recent drug case FIR No. 4 dated 29.3.2024 U/S 21& 29 NDPS Act PS-ANTF, UT Chandigarh, on the direction of Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/Crime and close guidance of DSP Crime Sh. Udaypal Singh and under the supervision of Inspector Satvinder Singh. Brief Facts:- It is recapitulated that by following the thread of drug dealers/suppliers, team of ANTF had before arrested 03 accused Vikramjit Singh, Avneet and Lovepreet Singh and recovered 1.512 kg Heroin, Toyota Glanza Car, Audi A6 Car, Endeavour car, Cash 4.5 Lakh. (Drug money). From Interrogation & investigation so far During police custody accused Lovepreet Singh disclosed that he came in contact with one Krishan Singh convicted for 15 years in a 11 Kg Heroin case and at present lodged in Firozepur Jail. Krishan Further introduced Lovepreet with Dogar @ Nambardar a Pakistani drug peddler through virtually generated International number on WhatApp. On surety of KrishanDogar @ Nambardar start suppling Heroin through his agent/persons sitting in India. The delivery of drug to Lovepreet was made through unknown person at fixed place. The delivery of purchased drug money was lateron paid back after drug sell. The drug money was sent back to Dogar through Hawala. The wanted Firozepur Jail inmate Krishan Singh was brought on production warrant on 01.04.2024 and his police remand for 6 days was obtained from court. Krishan Singh was interrogated and as per his disclosure recovery of 2 Kg Heroin effected from Amritsar, PB. Note:- Up till now a total 3.608 Kgs Heroin has been recovered from 3 accused in this case which is the highest drug seizure by Chandigarh Police so far. Profile of accused KrishanSingh:- Krishan Singh s/o Chhinder Singh R/o Village-Laluwala, PS-Makhu, District-Ferozepur, Punjab age-27, years. Krishan Singh had tainted past and had been convicted in 11 kg heroin case. Beside this 3 more cases stand against him. Recovery from Krishan Singh: 2 Kg Heroin Modus Operandi:- Krishan Singh came in contact with Pakistan Peddler Dogar @ Nambardar through one of his friend from village- Barike and started Heroin peddling from Pakistan and further supplied it in Punjab. He used to get the supplied drugs by Dogar from the destined place across border fencing and used to get it collected manually at odd hours. Later he was arrested by Punjab Police with 11 Kg heroin and convicted. But now Dogar delivered the drugs through various means to his confident man inside India, who further used to supply through courier to directed persons on identification and at destined place. The payment of drug received from Pakistan was paid back through courier and also through Hawala operators. The drug was supplied at cheap rate of Rs. 1100/- per gram and its price increased approximately Rs. 100/- per gram to the next supply chain. Now end drug users in Chandigarh are getting heroin @ Rs. 2200/- per gram. Krishan Singh is operating drug purchased and supply network from Pakistan to inside Punjab and further to tri-city through his network from Jail and using mobile phones to liaison with his links.
