Accident

A case FIR No. 27, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the statement of Gajjan Singh R/o Village Tandi, Karoran, Distt. Mohali PB, against driver of electric scooter No. CH-01CN-5435 which hit to Motor Cycle No. PB-27J-0840 near Lake, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 27-02-2024. Motor Cycle driver Sandeep Singh R/o Village Tandi, Karoran, Distt. Mohali, PB sustained injuries and was admitted to PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 17, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Village Daria, Chandigarh who alleged that Kailash Nath and others R/o Laxmi Jewelers Shop No. 337, Gali No. 10, Village Dariya, Chandigarh had taken a gold ring and Rs 12,000/- from complainant to make a new ring on 18.11.2022. But alleged person neither make a new ring nor return her money and old ring. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 18, U/S 408, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhwinder Singh Parmar, Group Head Legal, Em Pee Motors Ltd., Plot No. 177, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh who alleged that Harpreet Singh R/o # 3016, Sector 27-D, Chandigarh permanent address, Gali No. 6, Harbans Nagar, Bathinda, PB had been working as AGM with their company since 12.01.2021 who was in charge of U Trust department for sale purchase of old cars. On 05.07.2023 he had a deal of two cars for Rs. 27 lakh and insisted accounts to make payment to the customer. But after payment he stopped coming to the office and sent his resignation. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 33, U/S 419, 420, 406 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Netrapal R/o MCH, Civil Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula, HR, Chandigarh who alleged that Shivjeet Singh Virk C/o Chamber No. 148, District Courts, Sector-43, Chandigarh fraudulently and deceivingly took Rs. 1,10,240/- from complainant by portraying himself as Adv. Mandeep Singh on 08.09.2023. Investigation of the case is in progress.
