SHIMLA -7th December, 2023-Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today extended warm greetings and best wishes to the members of the Armed Forces and their families on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day.
On the occasion, Brig. Madan Sheel Sharma, Director (Rtd.), Sainik Welfare Department, pinned the Armed Forces Flag on the coat of the Governor.
The Governor appealed to all citizens to contribute generously towards the Armed Forces Flag Day fund and serve the noble cause of welfare of soldiers, the ex-servicemen and their families. He added that our Armed Forces have a glorious history. He said that the sacrifices made by the jawans of Army, Navy and Air Force while serving our country were remarkable.
