Chandigarh, December 4- In a momentous stride towards cultural preservation and societal acknowledgement, Haryana, for the first time organized the state-level commemoration of Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj's birth anniversary in Jind today. During the celebrations the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal also made several key announcements in a gesture of deep respect to Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj.

Declaring December 4 as a 'special day' in the official government calendar, establishing 4 Kesh Kaushal Vikas Kendras in Gurugram, Hisar, Rohtak, and Ambala, renaming the Chownk in front of the court on Gohana road and JD-7 road after Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj, dedicating a building within the premises of Sri Dhanna Bhagat Medical College in Jind in the honor of Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj are among some of the key announcements made by the Chief Minister during the state level programme.

Besides this, the Chief Minister also announced the allotment of the plot for Dharamshala construction in the Jind district along with a grant of Rs. 32 lakh for the said Dharamshala. This grant includes Rs 21 lakh from the discretionary fund of the Chief Minister and Rs. 11 lakh from the discretionary fund of MP, Jind, Sh. Ramesh Kaushik.

Responding to the demand of the Sen community, the Chief Minister informed that the State Government has formally requested the Central Government to grant a separate identity for the Sen community i.e. ‘Sen’, distinct from the present ‘Sen-Nai’ term.

Meanwhile, earlier, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 39 projects worth about Rs 590 crore. These announcements highlight Manohar Sarkar’s dedication to supporting key social initiatives that resonate with the teachings of Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj.

The anniversaries of saints - Mahatmas are being celebrated at the state level

The Chief Minister stated that Sant Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj dedicated his life to the welfare of society and gained fame as a service-oriented personality. He said that when his government came into power in 2014, we observed that the previous governments had forgotten the valuable contributions made by these saints and mahatmas. However, to bring the teachings and ideals of saints to the people as inspiration, the present government has successfully implemented Sant Mahapurush Samman evam Vichar Prachar Prasar Yojna celebrating anniversaries of saints and great personalities. Today's grand program is also organized under this scheme only, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

He said that social issues can be resolved with the cooperation of society. A successful example of this is the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" initiative, which has transformed Haryana into a state that not only celebrates the birth of every girl child but also educates their daughters to shine bright in every field. Similarly, support from the community is being sought for environmental, and water conservation, and curbing substance abuse, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

For the welfare of the poor, the Prime Minister has implemented several welfare schemes

Sh. Manohar Lal said, our government is working with the spirit of Antyodaya. Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has implemented numerous schemes to benefit poor families. Through housing schemes, water connections, Ujjwala Yojana, and providing electricity connections, he has contributed to the well-being of every poor family. The poor have the right to government schemes, and it is their entitlement, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

CDLU Ushers in Technological Excellence with the Inauguration of UITDC Center by Deputy CM

Chandigarh, December 4 - Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala today inaugurated the University IT, Data and Computer Centre (UITDC). at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, marking a groundbreaking step in the field of Information Technology.

The state-of-the-art UITDC Center, the first of its kind in the state, has been established at CDLU, signifying a remarkable stride towards technological efficiency.

During the inauguration, Sh. Dushyant Chautala highlighted the importance of technology in the present era and commended CDLU for becoming proficient in this domain. He said that the IT center at Devi Lal University is a pioneer in the state, urging the staff to leverage IT facilities for the nation's development. Encouraging the generation of new ideas within the university, he stressed the role of professors in inspiring students to acquire the latest knowledge.

The Deputy Chief Minister inspected the newly inaugurated UITDC building, constructed at a cost exceeding Rs. 9.80 crore on the CDLU campus. Approximately 350 computers will be installed, paving the way for the complete digitalization of the university and providing significant benefits to students.

The UITDC center is on track to host the NTA (National Testing Agency), contributing to the practical knowledge acquisition of students. Prof. Sushil Kumar, the Director of UITDC, expressed optimism about the center's role in enhancing students' practical knowledge.

Chandigarh, December 4 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal today inaugurated the international conference on ‘Strategies for Global Food and Nutritional Security, Sustainability and Wellness’ (Nutri-2023) organised at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. He also explored an exhibition centered on entrepreneurship in the agriculture sector at the Agricultural College campus.

During the visit, the Chief Minister was apprised of the establishment of the Agri Business Incubation Center at Haryana Agricultural University, aimed at fostering startups led by young entrepreneurs. Over the past four years, this center has facilitated the initiation of 100 startups by disbursing a total amount of Rs 6 crore. These startups have successfully employed tissue culture technology to develop superior varieties of banana, sugarcane, and processed food products derived from coarse grains.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister convened a meeting with distinguished scientists hailing from renowned research institutions across 14 countries. He highlighted the significant strides that Haryana has made in the agricultural sector, with its products being exported to numerous nations globally. The Chief Minister emphasized the ongoing collaboration between the state government and various countries worldwide to not only augment agricultural production but also enhance its quality.

Agricultural scientist plays an important role in increasing the quality of crops

In introducing the Haryana government ministers and other distinguished guests at the seminar to the scientists, the Chief Minister said that concrete steps are being initiated by the government for the upliftment of the agriculture sector. The incorporation of new technologies has led to remarkable achievements in Haryana's agricultural landscape, marked by record-breaking production. However, this success has brought forth new challenges. He also highlighted concerns about the diminishing quality of crop production due to the excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides, leading to adverse impacts on human health. In addition, he pointed out the environmental impact, including water pollution. It is imperative to address these challenges. He also emphasized the pivotal role of scientists in this endeavor and expressed confidence in the ability of the scientific community to overcome these issues, working towards ensuring a happier and healthier life for future generations.

900 scientists and researchers from 15 countries are participating

A three-day international conference is currently underway at the University from 4th to 6th December. The event has attracted participation from 900 scientists and researchers representing 15 countries, including America, Britain, Canada, Kazakhistan, Japan, Egypt, France, Germany, Tunisia, Brazil, and Morocco.

During the conference's inaugural session, Professor Arthur C. Redecker, a co-winner of the IPCC Nobel Prize from France, and Professor Sergio C. Caparada, a Faculty Fellow from Texas A&M University in America, delivered lectures on technical topics. Distinguished scientists from renowned research institutions within the country have also graced the conference with their lectures.

On this occasion, Urban Local Bodies Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta, BJP District President Capt Bhupendra Singh, Mayor Gautam Sardana, former minister Prof. Chhatrapal and other officers were also present.

Haryana CM Manohar Lal dedicates Rs 590 crore worth of developmental projects to Jind on Sant Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj's Birth Anniversary

Chandigarh, December 4- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 39 developmental projects worth around Rs.590 crore during the state-level function commemorating Sant Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj's birth anniversary in Jind district. These projects, including 8 inaugurations worth around Rs.51 crore and 31 foundation stone laying ceremonies totaling Rs.539 crore will provide significant benefits to Jind district.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Municipal Council Office building constructed at a cost of about Rs.15 crore. In addition, various road widening and strengthening initiatives, such as the Jind-Hansi road, Jind-Bhiwani road, and improvements to several other roads, were inaugurated, amounting to crores in expenditure. Furthermore, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Asan village Water Works for the smooth supply of drinking water in Asan and Shiva villages, this will cost approximately Rs.5.3 crore.

Foundation stone laid for 31 projects worth Rs 539 crore

The Chief Minister inaugurated various developmental projects in Jind, involving a drinking water supply initiative for the town at a cost of Rs.388.27 crore. Additionally, he sanctioned Rs.75.87 crore for augmenting sewage systems in different colonies of Narwana town. The special maintenance of the Jind-Julani Janjgir road, with an expenditure of Rs.3.82 crore, and the special repair of the Jind-Safidon road connecting Jind-Rohtak via Jind-Gohana road crossing the Delhi-Bathinda railway line, costing Rs.3.85 crore, were also inaugurated. Moreover, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction work of roads on both sides of the canal, from Kandela bridge to Delhi-Bathinda railway line bridge, with an expenditure of Rs.5.98 crore, was conducted.

Beside these projects, the Chief Minister also inaugurated developmental works like construction of road from Primary School to Julani Minor, construction of road from Main Julani Road to Narwana Road, Construction of Pandu Gate, construction of Jayanti Devi Gate, construction of synthetic track in Eklavya Stadium and also laid the foundation of park construction. These initiatives, costing crores, are aimed at improving the civic infrastructure and overall living standards of the region.

The Chief Minister initiated numerous road strengthening projects, upgrading bridges, and improving sewage systems, with a focus on diverse areas across the district. The reconstruction of numerous roads, strengthening of existing infrastructure, and various other development initiatives collectively stand as a testament to the government's commitment towards comprehensive growth and infrastructure enhancement in the Jind district.

Committee Formed to Review Compensation Policy for Police and Home Guards

Chandigarh, December 4: Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal, today constituted a four-member committee to provide recommendations for the modification and revision of the current policy, particularly focusing on compensation for police officers and home-guards who injured/sacrifice their lives during instances of violence and communal unrest. Mr. Kaushal presided over the meeting regarding compensation for policemen, home-guards, and civilians who lose their lives during violence and communal unrest.

The members of the committee are Commissioner & Secretary, Personnel Department, Mr. Pankaj Agarwal; Special Secretary, Home-I Department, Mr. Mahavir Kaushik; IG, Administration, Mr. Sanjay Kumar; and AIG, Welfare - Mr. Rajeev Deswal. The committee has been asked to provide its recommendations within two weeks.

The meeting was attended by ADGP/CID, Mr. Alok Mittal; ADGP (Law and Order), Mamta Singh; and Special Secretary, Home, Mr. Mahavir Kaushik and Special Secretary , Dr. Aditya Dahiya.

Haryana Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij Addressed Public Grievances, Directs Action

Chandigarh, December 4: Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij held a public grievance redressal meeting at his residence on Monday, listening to the concerns of people from across the state and directing the concerned officials to take prompt action.

In one instance, a widow of an ex-serviceman residing in Defense Colony, Ambala Cantonment, sought Sh. Vij's intervention regarding a plot she had purchased from a dealer. Despite repeated requests, the dealer neither registered the plot in her name nor returned her money. Similarly, an industrialist from Ambala city approached the Home Minister, informing him about a threatening call he received from a foreign number claiming to be from the Bawaniya gang. The caller threatened to kill him unless he withdrew a Rs 2.25 crore fraud case he had filed against a Delhi-based businessman. Home Minister Vij directed the Ambala SP to investigate and register cases in both matters.

Several cases of pigeonholing were brought to Home Minister’s attention, and he instructed the SIT formed for pigeonholing to investigate these cases. A retired sub-inspector from Kaithal alleged that a swindler had defrauded him of Rs 30 lakh under the pretext of sending his son to America. Similarly, a young man from Kurukshetra informed the Home Minister that his son was cheated of Rs 42 lakh by an agent in the name of sending him abroad. A woman from Kaithal also narrated how her son was duped of Rs 55 lakh by an agent promising to send him to America. Home Minister directed the SIT to take action in all these cases.

The family of a murder victim from Indri sought the Home Minister's intervention, alleging that the police had registered a case but no action had been taken against the accused. Home Minister, Sh. Vij directed an SIT investigation into the matter. A woman from Ambala city complained that a false case under the Arms Act was registered against her son. Home Minister Vij instructed the SP to investigate the case.

A family from Yamunanagar reported the disappearance of their 17-year-old daughter. Despite filing a complaint with the police, no concrete action had been taken. The Home Minister called the SP of Yamunanagar and instructed him to expedite the search for the missing girl.

In the case of a Class 7 student allegedly subjected to molestation, Home Minister Vij directed the Karnal SP to form an SIT and investigate the matter. A woman from Karnal alleged that her property was fraudulently sold using forged documents. Home Minister Vij instructed the SP of Karnal to investigate this case as well.

Chandigarh December 4 : In the wake of the Chief Ministers' review meeting on pending Chief Minister's announcements, it was noticed that the non-availability of land and land-related issues were imperative to accelerating the pace of projects. The Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal had asked the Chief Secretary emphasizing the need for expeditious resolution of land-related matters for projects falling under the ambit of Chief Minister's announcements.

The Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal has been conducting regular reviews to ensure swift progress in addressing the land issues, thereby facilitating the timely implementation of crucial projects outlined by the Chief Minister.

Regular Reviews Ensure Swift Progress :

The Chief Secretary today reviewed 94 pending Chief Minister's announcements of 14 Departments : Animal Husbandry, Archaeology & Museum, Dairy Development, Cooperation, Development and Panchayat, Elementary Education, Forest & Wildlife, Higher Education, Home, HSAMB, HSIIDC, Public Health Engineering, Revenue, State Transport.

For this review, all Deputy Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, District Development and Panchayat Officers, and District Revenue Officers were present for the speedy allocation of land, serving resolutions by Panchayats, and the subsequent approval by the Development and Panchayat Department for the Council of Ministers' approval.

Key Updates:

The Chief Secretary was apprised that all formalities for the construction of the veterinary hospital in Charkhi Dadri have been finalized. Additionally, land has been identified for the District Jail in Charkhi Dadri, and the land acquisition process for the Police Line is nearing completion. Construction work on the women's college in Kharak Kalna village of Bhiwani is set to commence shortly.

Furthermore, land has been allocated for the Mini Secretariat in Radaur and the Sub-Division Office building in Ladwa. The layout plan and DPR will be prepared soon, and the tender process will be initiated thereafter. The necessary formalities for the expansion of the Mini Secretariat in Loharu, construction of the sub-tehsil building, and the bus stand in Bahal have also been completed.

It was also informed in the meeting that the tender for converting the vegetable market in Loharu and the land-related process for the grain market will be finalized shortly on the e-Bhoomi portal. Additionally, the land acquisition process for building community centers, park-cum-gyms, and purchase centers in several villages will be completed soon."

Prioritize Land-Related Tasks:

Mr. Kaushal said that all District Development and Panchayats Officers, as well as Chief Executive Officers of Zilla Parishad must prioritize land-related tasks associated with pending Chief Minister announcements. Additionally, they should personally liaise with headquarters to promptly address objections, ensuring the expeditious implementation of schemes.

Resolve Land-Related Issues Within Two Weeks:

Mr. Kaushal asked the officers to resolve all land-related issues for pending development projects within the next two weeks. This swift action will pave the way for initiating the tender process upon receiving the DPR (Detailed Project Report). Consequently, project work can commence expeditiously.

Update Portal with Relevant Information:

He also emphasized the importance of updating the portal with all relevant information related to Deputy Commissioners and Chief Minister announcements. This measure will ensure transparency and accessibility of crucial information.

So far, during this yatra, 2426 individuals in the Mahendragarh district have undergone health check-ups at camps organized by the Health Department, with 2154 citizens also receiving medications. In line with the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal's vision, there is a notable interest in Ayurveda among the people.

Addressing the gathering during the Jan Samvad Sankalp Yatra in Narnaul today, Sh. Om Prakash Yadav said that government services are being provided to citizens at their doorsteps. At a stall set up by the Ayush Department, medications were distributed to 2393 citizens, and 1437 individuals were informed about maintaining health through yoga. A well-equipped van, furnished with all necessary health facilities, is consistently in operation during this yatra, said the Minister.

With the medical check-ups at the camp organized in the villages of Bhushan Kala Bhankhari, Kharkara Bass, Dhanounda, Dhola, and Bhurajat, the government has provided significant relief to the poor through this Yatra, said the residents who had availed medical facilities during the camps. Chandigarh, December 4 - Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal while linking the Jan Samvad with the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ has embodied a service-focused approach. The Yatra has been initiated to connect every Indian with nation-building for a developed India by 2047, as declared by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, as part of this initiative, a special camp was organized today in the Sonipat district for the new beneficiaries of the Old Pension, where the Chief Minister digitally approved pensions for 3,000 new beneficiaries simultaneously.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Sh. Manohar Lal stated that he has taken the pledge to work towards the service of the nation, social service, and human service like Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. Acting on this sentiment, the present state government has been working for the welfare of the people for the past 9 years.

He emphasized that he has always considered Haryana's population of 2.80 crores as his own family and, as the head of the family; he always makes continuous efforts to alleviate every sorrow and trouble faced by the people.

Previously, people had to go through a long process to avail the benefits of old-age pensions, and still, their pensions were not granted. Even the undeserving used to maneuver to receive these benefits. However, our government has put an end to this practice, and now, with the help of the PPP, on the day a person turns 60, pension is automatically granted, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister further informed that from May 2022, the old Age Pension has been linked to the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), and since then, pensions for 1,82,000 people have been made automatically.

Sh. Manohar Lal stated that for those who wrongly availed pension benefits before the age of 60, orders were issued by the department to recover the amount from such individuals or their families. However, he took a strict cognizance of this and ordered that half of the pension amount be recovered as a monthly deduction, and recovery should not be made from the families of individuals who have passed away, said the Chief Minister.

He said that the present state government has increased the pension amount from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2750 monthly and from January 2024, a monthly pension of Rs. 3000 will be provided. Ayushman Bharat Yojana proving a boon for the Poor

Sh. Manohar Lal said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has brought significant benefits to the poor through the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, providing free medical treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh. Approximately 15 lakh families in Haryana were benefiting from this scheme. After increasing the Below Poverty Line (BPL) income limit from Rs. 1.20 lakh to Rs. 1.80 lakh annually and incorporating 14 lakh new families into the scheme through the Chirayu Haryana Yojana. The Haryana government has extended the benefits of this scheme to families with an annual income ranging from Rs. 1.80 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh, informed the Chief Minister.

Varishth Nagrik Seva Ashram to be constructed in every District for elderly over 80 years old who are living alone

The Chief Minister said that according to the PPP data, there are many elderly in the state aged over 80 years who are living alone. For the care of these elderly, the Varishth Nagrik Seva Ashram has been introduced. Under this scheme, the government will provide care for the elderly in these ashrams. The government aims to build ashrams at the district headquarters, and construction has already begun in 14 districts, informed Sh. Manohar Lal.

On this occasion, MP, Sh. Ramesh Chander Kaushik, Vice Chancellor, Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Prof. Manoj Kumar also addressed the program.

The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp and Jan Samvad Yatra program in Sonipat today.

He said that people has expressed confidence in the in the policies and programs of the Central Government, led by the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. Anticipating a continuation of the recent significant victories in state assembly elections, the Chief Minister affirmed that the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra serves as Prime Minister Modi's commitment to ensuring a prosperous future for the nation.

During the event, the Chief Minister directly engaged with beneficiaries of the old-age pension. Furthermore, he initiated the disbursement of the old-age pension to 3000 eligible beneficiaries of Sonipat district, relying on verified data through the Parivar Pahchan Patra.

The primary objective of the current state government is to uplift individuals from poverty. In pursuit of this goal, numerous welfare schemes have been implemented for the benefit of eligible citizens, he added.

Chandigarh, December 04- Haryana is witnessing the impactful 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' which aims to disseminate information about both the Central and State governments' welfare schemes to the general public. Special service camps have counselled 2321 people, with the journey lasting 50 days and to be culminating on Republic Day, January 26.

Starting November 16, 2023, Chief Minister, Sh.Manohar Lal has meticulously planned a 50-day road map to effectively convey Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi's vision of India becoming a developed nation by 2047.

The Yatra has been integrated into the Chief Minister's 'Jan Samvad' programme, which is a continuation of the initial phase, which began on June 2, 2023, from Kharak Kalan village in Bhiwani district. So far, the Chief Minister has visited all 90 constituencies' rural areas, engaging with residents and gathering direct feedback on government welfare programmes.

The programme gained significant interest not only from BJP members, but also from participants affiliated with other opposition parties, showing the widespread public interest in the ‘Jan Samvad’ Programme.

A total of 13076 women and approximately 34974 individuals, including the underprivileged, youth, and farmers, have pledged to support Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi's vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.

A message is also being disseminated to make people aware of the importance of staying healthy

To stay healthy, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has incorporated the phrase ‘Ek Sawasth Sharir Mein Hi Ek Swasth Mastishk Ka Niwas Hota Hai’ (A healthy mind resides in a healthy body) from Arya Samaj founder Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati's book 'Satyarth Prakash' into his lifestyle and people.

As a result, the Chief Minister has expanded the scope of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Haryana to Chirayu Haryana and launched the Nirogi Haryana Yojana to monitor people's health. On the fourth day of the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, health checkups were organised on approximately 7484 people. In addition, 4454 people were tested for tuberculosis (TB) as part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (PMTBMBA).

During the yatra, 1007 people submitted new applications to benefit from Ayushman Bharat, Chirayu Haryana Yojana, and 3879 people submitted new applications to benefit from Nirogi Haryana Yojana.The Yatra has also seen dignitaries like MP and MLA honouring local athletes, intellectuals, and artists, enhancing its significance at various locations across Haryana.

The Chief Minister has expanded the reach of the Yatra by engaging university students in discussions. Recently, he engaged with students at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Sonipat, discussing their aspirations for India's development by 2047.

Earlier, on December 3, 2023, he addressed the audience as the chief guest at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology in Hisar and Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University programmes.

Chandigarh, December 4 - Haryana, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today gave a big gift to Jind residents on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj as he laid the foundation stone of the project regarding providing drinking water from the Bhakra Main Line in Jind city. The said canal-based drinking water supply project will be constructed at Rs 388 crore. This will increase the availability of clean drinking water to the Jind residents.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Municipal Council Office building constructed at a cost of about Rs.15 crore. In addition, various road widening and strengthening initiatives, such as the Jind-Hansi road, Jind-Bhiwani road, and improvements to several other roads, were inaugurated, amounting to crores in expenditure. Furthermore, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Asan village Water Works for the smooth supply of drinking water in Asan and Shiva villages, this will cost approximately Rs.5.3 crore.

Foundation stone laid for 31 projects worth Rs 539 crore

The Chief Minister inaugurated various developmental projects in Jind, involving a drinking water supply initiative for the town at a cost of Rs.388.27 crore. Additionally, he sanctioned Rs.75.87 crore for augmenting sewage systems in different colonies of Narwana town. The special maintenance of the Jind-Julani Janjgir road, with an expenditure of Rs.3.82 crore, and the special repair of the Jind-Safidon road connecting Jind-Rohtak via Jind-Gohana road crossing the Delhi-Bathinda railway line, costing Rs.3.85 crore, were also inaugurated. Moreover, the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction work of roads on both sides of the canal, from Kandela bridge to Delhi-Bathinda railway line bridge, with an expenditure of Rs.5.98 crore, was conducted.

Beside these projects, the Chief Minister also inaugurated developmental works like construction of road from Primary School to Julani Minor, construction of road from Main Julani Road to Narwana Road, Construction of Pandu Gate, construction of Jayanti Devi Gate, construction of synthetic track in Eklavya Stadium and also laid the foundation of park construction. These initiatives, costing crores, are aimed at improving the civic infrastructure and overall living standards of the region.

The Chief Minister initiated numerous road strengthening projects, upgrading bridges, and improving sewage systems, with a focus on diverse areas across the district. The reconstruction of numerous roads, strengthening of existing infrastructure, and various other development initiatives collectively stand as a testament to the government's commitment towards comprehensive growth and infrastructure enhancement in the Jind district.

Haryana Government Approves Renaming of Bhadani to Kaimalgarh Road as Shaheed Vikrant Sehrawat Road

Chandigarh, December 4 - Haryana Government has given nod to the renaming of the road from Bhadani to Kaimalgarh in Jhajjar District, in honor of the brave martyr Shaheed Vikrant Sehrawat Road.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal gave approval for renaming the road here today.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that this decision came after recommendation from various stakeholders including Deputy Commissioner, MLA, MP, and the concerned Gram Panchayat.

He said that the road, previously known as the Kaimalgarh to Bhadani Road, will now be officially named the Shaheed Vikrant Sehrawat Road, paying homage to the supreme sacrifice made by the martyr. The decision aligns with the Government's commitment to honoring individuals who have contributed significantly to the nation.

Spokesperson stated that Shaheed Vikrant Sehrawat made the supreme sacrifice of his life while defending the Motherland during "Operation Vijay" in Kargil. The newly designated Shaheed Vikrant Sehrawat Road will stand as a testament to the bravery and selfless service of a remarkable son of the soil, and will serve as an inspiration for generations to come.

The Government expresses its gratitude for the invaluable service and sacrifice of Shaheed Vikrant Sehrawat and reaffirms its commitment to commemorating the heroes who have defended the Motherland.
