The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra commenced with vigor in Haryana

Programs held in 59 gram panchayats on the first day, 47000 people participated

Chandigarh, December 1– The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiated by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi on November 15, 2023, with the vision of transforming developing India into a developed nation within the next 25 years, has gained significant momentum in Haryana. Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal has innovatively shaped this yatra by integrating it with Jan Samvad. On November 30, 2023, the Chief Minister inaugurated the state-wide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Jansamvad Yatra from Fatehpur Biloch village in Faridabad, whereas Cabinet ministers, MPs, and MLAs commenced the yatra in all districts.

On the inaugural day, diverse programs orgainzed in 59 gram panchayats across all 22 districts. Approximately 47000 individuals actively participated in these events, delivering a resounding message of public engagement. Notably, over 19000 women registered their presence. Participants collectively pledged their commitment to propel India towards developed status.

More than 7400 health camps were organized

Throughout the Yatra, information about various programs including informative sessions about the welfare schemes implemented by both the Central and State Governments, aimed at uplifting the most marginalized members of society in alignment with the Antyodaya Darshan are being organized. Eligible citizens are promptly receiving the benefits of these schemes on-site. Furthermore, as part of the Nirogi Haryana Scheme, free health checkups are being conducted for individuals, with over 7400 health camps organized on the inaugural day alone. In addition, more than 3500 people underwent screening for TB as part of this initiative.

Beneficiaries of the schemes told their success stories and inspired others

Within the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Jansamvad Yatra, beneficiaries of schemes implemented by both the Central and State Governments shared their success stories, serving as inspiration for others to leverage these initiatives. Through the "Meri Kahani-Meri Jubani" program, around 400 individuals recounted how they accessed information about the schemes and achieved economic progress by availing themselves of the opportunities provided. The people at the event not only praised their spirit but also wholeheartedly endorsed and supported the government's schemes.

Women and children were honored

On the inaugural day's programs, the administration bestowed honors upon women achievers, talented students, local athletes, and artists who had made noteworthy contributions. Recognizing approximately 400 women, 1300 students, around 200 athletes, and about 100 artists, these felicitation ceremonies serve to inspire others to strive for excellence and uniqueness in their pursuits. Beyond individual recognition, these events underscore the government's sustained commitment to women's empowerment. The aim of the Yatra is to ensure the saturation of government schemes into every village and household, with the vision that every Indian makes an unparalleled contribution towards the realization of a developed India.

On the second day, lakhs of individuals availed information about various government schemes through stalls set up by different departments.

People in this Yatra took an oath to contribute to India's development, with the goal of transforming the country into a developed country by 2047.

Minister of School Education, Forests, and Environment, Sh. Kanwar Pal, stated in Khadri and Jaydhar that the government, led by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh.Manohar Lal, is working to ensure individuals' easy access to entitled rights and to simplify citizens' lives. Their vision is for India to be self-sufficient and developed by 2047.

He emphasised that under this campaign, the government's welfare and ambitious plans are designated to reach the last person. Additionally, Jan Samvad Programme was organised where officers collaborated to resolve issues. He highlighted that earlier people used to go around officers to get BPL cards, but now they can get them online.

Haryana Cooperation and Public Health Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal during the awareness programme in Kasola of Dharuhera block of Rewari district, honoured citizens excelling in various domains. Moreover, the event focused on the 'Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani' theme praising the government's policies focused on public welfare.

Women and Child Development Minister, Smt. Kamlesh Dhanda while addressing the audience of village Jakhauli, Kaithal expressed that through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra-Jan Samvad programme people are receiving information and benefits of various services at their doorsteps. She highlighted the transformative vision of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, leading to increased global respect for India and significant development within the state through numerous schemes.

MLA, Yamunagar, Sh. Ghanshyam Das Arora, in Dayalgarh and Sugh village mentioned that the 'Viksit Bharat Jan Samvad Sankalp Yatra' commencement aims to ensure the reach of the Central and State Government's welfare plans to the last person.

Similarly MLA, Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli, surveyed stalls providing information about various government plans during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, in villages Bagadu and Jafrabad in Sonipat district.

Haryana Pavilion, exhibitions, and book fair to be key attractions at International Gita Mahotsav

Chandigarh, December 01- The main programmes of the International Gita Mahotsav to be organised at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra from 7 to 24 December will run from 17 to 24 December. The main attractions of the Mahotsav will be the Haryana Pavilion, the Hi-Tech Exhibition of the Public Relations Department, and the Gita Book Fair.

Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson of the Kurukshetra Development Board stated that during the international event, the Mahotsav will draw crowds to Saras and Craft Fairs with over 600 stalls. As part of this year's festivities, Assam will join as a partner state and on behalf of this state, Assam Pavilion will be set up in the ground where the national flag is placed.

The main cultural events will be held at Purshottampura Bagh showcasing a Vedic musical journey at the Haryana Pavilion by Kurukshetra University, right by the Draupadi Kund. The Information and Public Relations Department will set up high-tech state exhibitions around the Rath area.

The spokesperson said that the plans for a Sant Sammelan on December 22 at Purushottampura Bagh and a Teerth Sammelan is scheduled at Kurukshetra University on December 23, expecting around 2,000 representatives from 164 pilgrimage sites.

During the Gita Book Fair from December 17 to 24, sacred texts including the Bhagavad Gita authored by local writers will be displayed. Renowned personalities such as Nitesh Bharadwaj, who played the role of Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata, and actress Bhagyashree are set to participate in the main cultural programmes., he added.

He mentioned that the event will feature Bhajan Sandhya and Aarti from December 7 to 24, culminating in the Vaishvik Gita Path, Deepotsav, Teerth Sammelan, and a Nagar Shobha Yatraon December 23, serving as major attractions during the mahotsav.

Haryana's Infrastructure Receives a Major Boost as CM Approves Improvement of 5 Major District Roads

Chandigarh, December 1 – In a significant step towards enhancing connectivity and facilitating seamless transportation across Haryana, the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, has granted administrative approval for critical roads infrastructure projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 60.24 crore.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the projects include improvement of Hisar-Ghursal road (MDR) in Hisar Distt. spanning 24.79 km with an estimated budget of Rs. 25.84 crore, Improvement of Satnali- Badhra- Jui road (MDR-125) in Charkhi Dadri Distt., covering 19.00 km with an approved amount of Rs. 5.76 crore and Improvement of Hodal Nuh Patodi Patoda road in Palwal Distt, spanning 26 km with an allocated budget of Rs. 13.27 crore.

Furthermore, the Improvement of Gannaur to Shahpur (MDR-121) in Panipat Distt. spanning 8.64 km has been approved with an allocated budget of Rs. 5.66 crore while Improvement of Chhara-Dujana-Beri-Kalanaur road upto Distt. Boundary (MDR-122) in Jhajjar Distt spanning 20.41 km has been approved with an allocated budget of Rs. 9.71 crore.

He further stated that these initiatives reflect the Haryana Government's commitment to infrastructure development and will undoubtedly bring substantial benefits to the public by improving road networks and connectivity across the state.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said the project include Improvement of Rewari Pataudi road (SH-26) in Rewari District, covering 2.50 km with an estimated budget of Rs. 1.73 crore, Improvement of Rohtak Kharkhoda Delhi Border road (SH-18) in Sonepat District, covering 9.59 km with an estimated cost of Rs. 10.75 crore, Improvement of Lohani Kairu Obra Behal road (SH-5) in Bhiwani District, spanning 25.50 km at a cost of Rs. 25.17 crore, Improvement of Hansi Tosham road (SH -12) in Bhiwani Distt, spanning 15.80 km at a cost of Rs. 15.73 crore, Improvement of Kala Amb Sadhaura Barara Shahbad road (SH-04) in Yamuna Nagar Distt, spanning 20 km at a cost of Rs. 11.11 crore and Improvement of Jind Barwala road (SH-10) in Jind Distt, spanning 7.15 km with an estimated budget of Rs. 3.90 crore.

Furthermore, the Improvement of Kaithal Khaouri Road (SH-08) in Kaithal Distt. spanning 24.05 km. with an estimated budget of Rs. 10.11 crore has been approved while Improvement of Barwala Hisar Siwani Singhani road (SH-19) in Hisar District spanning 28 km has been approved with an estimated budget of Rs. 26.36 crore.

Apart from this, Improvement of Agroha to Adampur road in Hisar Distt, spanning 5.67 km with an estimated budget of Rs. 14.39 Crore, Improvement of Shahabad-Barara-Kala Amb road (SH-04 in Ambala Distt., spanning 30.40 km. with estimated budget of Rs. 32.05 Crore, Improvement of Karnal- Ramba- Indri- Shahabad road (SH-07) in Kurukshetra Distt., spanning 11.60 km with an estimated budget of Rs. 5.67 Crore has also been approved.

Chandigarh, December 1 - Under the dynamic leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal, the state government has successfully established an extensive road network, greatly enhancing the mobility of its residents. This comprehensive infrastructure has significantly reduced travel time and expenses, allowing people to traverse the entire state within a few hours by vehicles. 20 new national highways spanning 1130 km have been declared in the state, with 8 projects already completed and 12 currently underway. This development ensures that every district in the state is now connected to the National Highway network.

In a strategic move to alleviate traffic congestion around the national capital Delhi, two expressways—Kundli-Manesar-Palwal and Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal—have been operationalized, providing efficient routes and minimizing delays for drivers. This initiative aims to streamline traffic flow in and around Delhi.

Furthermore, the Ambala to Kotputli Greenfield Corridor (152-D) has been successfully completed at a cost of Rs 10,646 crore. This corridor facilitates rapid and smooth vehicular movement, allowing vehicles to cover vast distances in just a few hours. The completion of these infrastructure projects marks a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity and transportation efficiency across the state.

6,863 km long new roads constructed with Rs 3,642 crore

The escalating congestion on state roads and national highways prompted the government to take proactive measures to alleviate traffic issues. In a significant relief initiative, the government invested Rs 3,642 crore to construct 6,863 km of new roads, alongside improving 41,869 km of existing roads at a cost of Rs 21,133 crore. Additionally, 17 toll tax barriers were removed to further facilitate smoother traffic flow. To address specific traffic bottlenecks, strategic upgrades were made, converting Panchkula-Yamunanagar, Ambala-Kaithal, Jind-Narwana-Punjab border, and Sonipat-Jhajjar national highways into four-lane. This transformation has effectively eliminated congestion on these key routes.

Similarly, the government has successfully completed the construction of 63 railway over bridges and underground bridges, investing Rs 2577 crore. Another 50 bridges are currently in progress, promising substantial relief from traffic jams upon completion.

Metro rail service proved effective for the people

The government's introduction of the metro service has proven to be a highly effective and convenient mode of transportation for the public. The YMCA to Ballabhgarh metro service, implemented at a cost of Rs 580 crore, has significantly improved travel for residents in the surrounding areas. Similarly, the Bahadurgarh-Mundka (Delhi) metro service, undertaken at a cost of Rs 2029 crore, has further enhanced connectivity. Another notable addition is the metro rail service from Badarpur to Mujesar (YMCA Chowk) at a cost of Rs 2494 crore and from Sikandarpur station to Sector-56 at a cost of Rs 2143 crore, providing efficient transportation options.

The initiation of the Regional Rapid Transport System Connectivity Project between Sarai Kalekhan-Karnal and Sarai-Kalekhan to Alwar Rajasthan Border, with an investment of approximately Rs 70000 crore, marks a significant step towards modernizing and expanding transportation infrastructure. Besides this, the approved metro rail projects from Narela to Kundli, HUDA City Centre-Cyber City Gurugram, and from Rejangla Chowk to Sector 21 Dwarka are poised to further enhance metro connectivity in the region, showcasing the government's commitment to advancing public transportation.

In future people will also get benefit from these schemes

The present government is actively undertaking various schemes to fortify the future road and rail infrastructure for the benefit of the people. Notable projects include the construction of the Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Expressway, aimed at enhancing connectivity. Additionally, the development of the East-West Expressway connecting Panipat-Safidon-Nagoora-Uchana-Prabhuwala-Bhuna-Ratia-Sardulgarh-Kalanwali-Mandi Dabwali is currently in progress. Efforts are also directed towards improving transportation in National Capital Region districts like Ambala and Bhiwani through the construction of Ring Road and KMP. Furthermore, the government has granted approval for the railway line from Prithla (Palwal) to Sonipat, in conjunction with an expressway, at a cost of Rs 5,500 crore.

Property IDs to be issued only after thorough investigation and in the real owner's name – Deputy CM

Chandigarh, December 1 - Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala has instructed all Deputy Commissioners in the state to ensure that property IDs issued under the Swamitav Yojana are registered in the name of the rightful owner only after a thorough investigation. Any objections that may arise in this process should be addressed and resolved before initiating the registry.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Revenue Department, conveyed these directives to Deputy Commissioners and Divisional Commissioners across the state through a video conference held here today. Minister of State, Sh Anup Dhanak was also present in the meeting.

Mr. Dushyant Chautala emphasized the importance of ensuring comprehensive coverage in the issuance of property IDs, citing the successful implementation in Sirsi village in Karnal district, where IDs were issued for the entire village. He directed Deputy Commissioners to extend this approach to all villages, encompassing all residents rather than a select few. He also instructed Deputy Commissioners to collaborate with Panchayats and publicly display the village map, accompanied by the property IDs, in a prominent location. This measure aims to allow residents to easily verify if their property is registered under their name. Any objections raised should be promptly addressed. Mr. Chautala also directed to upload such village maps, along with property IDs, on the department's website to facilitate checks by individuals in service or conducting business within the state or abroad. To streamline the process, he directed the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), aiming to simplify the tasks of Deputy Commissioners and other district officers.

The Deputy CM further directed officials to establish a headquarters-level control room to provide assistance to district-level officials involved in the property ID issuance process. He said that the government is going to prepare a system allowing people abroad to address property ID concerns through platforms like WhatsApp or other online resources.

Mr. Dushyant Chautala also provided specific instructions for the transparent distribution of Khevat lands. He also issued guidelines for registries being conducted through SDM and DRO. He urged Deputy Commissioners to conduct regular monthly reviews of these processes.

Financial Commissioner of Revenue Department Mr. TVSN Prasad, Special Secretary Amna Tasneem, OSD to Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Kamlesh Bhadu and other officers were also present in the meeting.

Chandigarh, December 01 - With the diligent efforts of Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh Anil Vij, the historically significant village of "Panjokhara" in the Ambala Cantonment assembly constituency is set to be renamed "Panjokhara Sahib" in recognition of its religious importance. The Central Government has granted permission for this name change, and the Haryana Government will issue an official notification soon.

Recognizing the religious significance of Panjokhara village, Home Minister Sh Anil Vij previously engaged in discussions with the state government regarding the village's name change to Panjokhara Sahib. Through his efforts, the proposal to rename Panjokhara as Panjokhara Sahib was successfully passed during a session of the Haryana Assembly. The state government forwarded this proposal to the central government to officially record the village as Panjokhara Sahib in government documents. Subsequently, the Central Government has raised no objections to this proposal from the State Government. As a result, the Haryana Government is set to promptly issue an official notification.

Apart from the Haryana Government, information regarding the name change has been communicated to various departments of the Central Government, including the Home Ministry, Survey of India, Directorate of Map Publication, National Geo Spatial Data Center and others.

Panjokhara Sahib village was adopted by the Home Minister

Home Minister Sh Anil Vij adopted the village of Panjokhara Sahib and various development works costing crores of rupees have been completed in the villages till now. Due to his dedicated efforts, substantial improvements have been accomplished in the village. Notably, Panjokhara Sahib will soon be seamlessly connected to the 40-kilometer-long ring road under construction in Ambala. This connection is anticipated to bring increased benefits to both local residents and devotees traveling from distant places to visit the village.

The road was given a facelift by the Home Minister for the pilgrims to travel from Ambala Cantonment to Panjokhara Sahib. Furthermore, significant enhancements were made to the village's infrastructure, including the paving and widening of streets and roads, along with the installation of street lights. These improvements have notably enhanced the experience for devotees and local residents alike. Under the Amrit Sarovar Scheme, the village's pond has undergone thorough cleaning, and now, boating activities are available, contributing to the overall attractiveness and recreational opportunities within the village.

Panjokhara Sahib village is home to the historic Gurudwara Panjokhara Sahib, a revered center for devotees. This sacred site holds special significance as it is the birthplace of the eighth Guru of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Har Kishan Sahib Maharaj. Haryana Minister Anil Vij orders strict action in response to assault on Inter-Caste Marriage Families

In Ambala on Friday, Home Minister Anil Vij listened to the concerns of people from across the state

Chandigarh, December 01- Haryana Home Minister, Sh.Anil Vij took serious note of assaults on families after inter-caste marriage in Karnal, and directed the Karnal Superintendent of Police to take strict action in this and other reported matters of the people.

Minister Vij listened to grievances from across the state as he addressed concerns raised by various people visiting his residence in Ambala today.

The minister has directed the SP to take action in the reported cases

A family from Karnal recounted an attack on their members following their son's inter-caste marriage, which they were unaware of. Despite their complaint, they claimed that the police had taken no significant action, to which the minister directed the Karnal SP to take stringent action against the culprits.

Another dowry harassment case was filed in Shahabad by a woman and her family members, who criticised the police for failing to arrest the accused despite filing a complaint. In addition, a doctor at a civil hospital accused some youth of assault and threats, claiming that despite filing a report, police did not take action.

SIT to investigate after 8 lakh rupees were cheated in the name of sending it to Canada

Moreover, a Kurukshetra resident accused someone of defrauding them of Rs. 8 lakh under the guise of sending them to Canada, The Home Minister directed the SIT formed to investigate the matter.

Sh. Vij also issued directives for investigations into various other cases, addressing concerns by directing relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate each case.

Haryana Govt gears up for smooth conduct of HTET on Dec 2 & 3;

Over 2,52,028 Candidates to Participate in 856 Examination Centres Statewide

Chandigarh December 1: The Haryana Government is all set to conduct smooth and fair conduct of Haryana Teacher eligibility Test on December 2 and 3 in which over 2,52,028 candidates will appear in 856 examination centres set up across the state.

Inclusive Measures for Differently-Abled Candidates

While reviewing the arrangements of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Teacher Test with Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police and officers of Board of School education Haryana, the Chief Secretary, Sh. Kaushal said that for the convenience of blind and disabled candidates, additional 50 minutes at the rate of 20 minutes per hour will be given to them during the examination. Their O.M.R. sheet will also be sent in a separate envelope by the Centre Superintendent. Separate sitting arrangements should be ensured for such examinees, he directed.

Detailed Schedule for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) on December 2 and 3

Mr. Kaushal was apprised in the meeting that a total of 2,52,028 candidates will appear in Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) to be conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana on December 2 and 3. It was further apprised that on December 2 (Saturday) Level-3 (PGT) examination will be conducted in the evening session from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm, in which 76339 candidates will appear in 260 examination centres set up in the state. On December 3 (Sunday), 121574 candidates will appear in Level-2 (TGT) examination to be conducted in the morning session from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm in 408 examination centres, while 54115 candidates will appear in Level-1 (PRT) examination to be conducted in the evening session from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm in 188 examination centres.

Stringent Measures to Ensure Fair and Cheating-Free HTET

Ensuring fair and cheating free conduct of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Teacher Test (HTET), the Chief Secretary directed the Deputy Commissioners to impose Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) around all centres in the respective districts to prevent gathering so as to curb cheating in HTET.

Pre-Examination Protocols Emphasized

During the meeting, Sh. Kaushal directed the officers that the trunk of the sealed question paper of the examination will be collected from all district treasury offices and will be sent directly to the examination centres under the custody of two policemen through a joint team under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner or the administrative officer authorized by him. He further directed that adequate police arrangements should be made three hours before the commencement of the examination to prevent external interference at the examination centres and photostat shops around the examination centres will remain closed during the examination. Ensuring smooth conduct of the examination, media entry should be prohibited inside the examination centres, he added.

Timely Implementation of Security Protocols and Mandatory Formalities

Sh. Kaushal further directed the concerned officers to ensure entry of candidates 2 hours 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination so that they can freely go through the metal detector frisking, biometric attendance and other mandatory formalities at the examination centre well in time. Entry to the examination centre will be closed one hour before the commencement of the examination, he added.

Flying squad arrangement to check cheating and other irregularities

The Chief Secretary further said that the inspection arrangements of examination centres have been chalked out. Around 172 flying squads have been appointed to strictly check cheating and other irregularities. Apart from this, full-time observers have also been appointed at each examination centre across the state including an officer of the district administration and an officer/official of the education board as representatives.

It was apprised in the meeting that same as last year, a hi-tech control room is being set up at the board headquarters. During the examination, the board will maintain a strict vigil through the hi-tech control room at all the examination centres of the state. Live monitoring of candidates will be done at the entrance and a case will be registered against the candidate found involved in using the unfair means.

Haryana School Education Board Chairman Mr. Ved Prakash, Director General School Education Mrs. Asima Brar, Special Secretary Aditya Dahiya, Mahavir Kaushik and many senior officials were present in the meeting. All Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police joined the meeting online.

Chandigarh, December 1- Haryana Chief Secretary Sh Sanjeev Kaushal emphasized the timely completion of land-related formalities for development projects announced by the Chief Minister so as to ensure the swift implementation of these development initiatives.

The Chief Secretary was presiding over the review meeting of the pending Chief Minister's announcements here today. Additional Chief Secretary of Finance and Planning, Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. G. Anupama, and many senior officers were also present in the meeting. Deputy Commissioners from all districts joined the meeting online.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary meticulously reviewed over 80 pending announcements, including 21 from the Public Works Department, 41 from the Health Department, and 18 from the Urban Local Bodies Department. He urged district officers to expedite all tasks related to land registry, DPR, and project outlines within a month, fostering a positive mindset to swiftly conclude all pending schemes. He stressed that the responsibility lies with officials to implement the Chief Minister's announcements promptly, ensuring the public receives their benefits in a timely manner.

To accelerate the completion of these schemes, the Chief Secretary asked the officers to seek help from the public representatives of the respective districts. In addition, rapid action should be taken to build new health centers to replace the damaged health centers of the Health Department for which additional land is not available.

The Chief Secretary directed immediate action on various infrastructure projects across the state. These include the construction of a railway underpass and pathway under bridge in Faridabad, a four-lane road from Ballabhgarh to village Khori, a double flyover at Ballabhgarh on Sohna Road, and the widening of the road from Data to Lohari Ragho in Hisar. He also directed the speedy completion of several other projects, including the construction of a bypass at Beri, a four-lane road from Badli to Indira Gandhi International Airport, bypasses at Chhuchhakwas, Uchana, Pinangwa, and Punhana, a road from Jamuwas to Kalarpur road, a rest house in Ghira, the connecting of the bridge being built on the Yamuna River in Hasanpur of Palwal, to connect NH-44 to NH-334B in Sonipat, and the construction of the Dr. Mangalsen Memorial Building in Rohtak, new buildings of the Municipal Council Sirsa and Rewari, the construction of the Shaheed Ajmer Singh Library in Samalkha, the construction of the Mata Savitri Bai Jyotiba Phule Hostel, Library, Museum, Research Center, and Cultural Center in Kurukshetra, and the construction of the Hodal bus stand.

Among IAS officers, Lakshit Sareen, Assistant Commissioner (under training) Nuh has been posted as OSD office of Deputy Commissioner Ambala against a newly created posted.

Narendra Kumar, Assistant Commissioner (under training) Hisar has been posted as OSD office of Deputy Commissioner Faridabad against a newly created posted.

Nisha, Assistant Commissioner (under training) Ambala has been posted as OSD office of Deputy Commissioner Panchkula against a newly created posted.

Sonu Bhatt, Assistant Commissioner (under training) Faridabad has been posted as OSD office of Deputy Commissioner Hisar against a newly created posted.

Vishwajeet Chaudhary Assistant Commissioner (under training) Rohtak has been posted as OSD office of Deputy Commissioner Gurugram against a newly created posted.

Director General of Police Enhances Policing in Gurugram: Inaugurates Police Training School and Honors Outstanding Officers"

Chandigarh Dec 1- Haryana'sDirector General of Police (DGP), Shatrujeet Kapur, today held a comprehensive meeting with Gurugram Police and Village Guards o, at the ICAT Institute in Sector 8, Manesar. The focal points of the meeting were to enhance policing efforts, acknowledge exemplary service, and inaugurate a new police training school.

Enhanced Policing:

He underscored the paramount importance of public service and adherence to the law. He called upon police officers to exhibit professionalism and extend assistance to those in need.

Village Guards and Community Engagement:

Kapur issued directives to village guards, urging them to diligently upload area data on the Gram Prahari App. He emphasized the preparation of lists identifying drug offenders and criminals, with a special focus on monitoring their activities. Prioritizing women's safety, he directed guards to identify and address hotspots, deploying police teams as needed. Additionally, village guards were tasked with checking on the well-being of elderly residents and providing assistance when necessary.

Crime Prevention Measures:

The DGP emphasized impartial investigation of cases to ensure appropriate legal consequences for criminals. Special attention was directed towards individuals on bail or parole, as well as those involved in harassment, bullying, hooliganism, and drug dealing. Swift action against offenders in crimes involving women, children, and the elderly was emphasized. The implementation of initiatives to curb cybercrime was also stressed.

Appreciation for Excellence:

Outstanding police officers were recognized and presented with certificates of appreciation by DGP Kapur. He highlighted the significance of dedication and hard work within the police force.

Inauguration of Police Training School:

DGP also inaugurated a cutting-edge police training school at the old Police Commissioner's office in Gurugram. This facility, designed to train 100 officers and employees, will cover various aspects of law enforcement, including amendments, NDPS Act provisions, and investigations.

Meeting with Transport Union Officials:

The Director General of Police convened a meeting with all transport union officials to address their concerns and discuss critical issues. During the session, the Director General provided essential guidance to the Transport Union representatives on matters pertaining to road safety. He urged transporters to refrain from unjustifiably impeding their drivers from promptly reaching their vehicles. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of motivating drivers to adhere to prescribed speed limits and cautioned against exceeding these limits.
