CHANDIGARH,27.09.23-The Post Graduate Department of Fashion Designing and Green Campus Committe of GGDSD College, Sector - 32 Chandigarh in association with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education organized a two day Skill based workshop on Digital Marketing and Video Editing.

Mr. Ajay Tanwar & Mr. Samarth Sharma, Consultants, MGNCRE (Ministry of Education),Govt. of India were the eminent speakers. The main aim of these workshops was to enlighten the students about digital world and its creativity and also to stand out from competitors in a congested market with use of these techniques. Students also learnt how to develop websites using free resources and help businesses create professional looking videos, which in turn help to attract and retain customers by using video editing skills.

This event was held on 26th & 27th September 2023. Total 59 students enrolled themselves for the workshop. Faculty members Ms.Priya Malik, Ms.Tania Sharma, Ms.Ekta, Ms.Dikshita & Ms.Rupali also attended the workshop. Dr.Sumita Sikka HOD, Fashion Designing Department was the convenor of the event.
The Principal Dr. Ajay Sharma congratulated the Post Graduate Department of Fashion Designing for successful conduct of the event. He at last promoted the utilization of both - Digital Marketing and Video Editing skills for promoting startups and developing strategies to attract customers within a limited budget.
