Mahendergarh,18.09.23- A ten day long poster exhibition focusing on the works of Balmukund Gupt was started on the occasion of his death anniversary at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar inaugurated the event. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor remembered the contribution of Balmukund Gupt, the pioneer of Hindi literature and journalism, and said that without him the study of Hindi literature is incomplete. Prof. Surendra Singh, Coordinator of Hindi Pakhwada Organizing Committee and Prof. Bir Pal Singh Yadav, HoD, Department of Hindi were also present on this occasion.
The compositions written by Balmukund Gupt were displayed in this composition poster exhibition organized in the academic block four of the University. These mainly included his writings based on the ideas that played an important role in the freedom struggle. After visiting this exhibition, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that this exhibition will definitely provide an opportunity to the students to know closely about the great creator of Hindi literature, Balmukund Gupt. He praised the Official Language Section, Hindi Pahkhwada Organizing Committee Dr. Amit Manoj and his colleagues for organizing this event. During the event, Dr. Amit Manoj presented a detailed explanation of various creations and their meaning before the Vice Chancellor. Coordinator of Hindi Pakhwada Organizing Committee Prof. Surendra Singh said that various events have started under Hindi Pakhwada and various competitions and programs will be organized at the University level till 27th September.
On this occasion Prof. Pramod Kumar, Dr. Siddharth Shankar Rai, Dr. Devendra Rajput, Hindi officer Shailender Singh, Dr. Kamaraj Sindhu, Dr. Kamlesh Kumari, Dr. Arvind Singh Tejawat, Dr. Reena Swami, Dr. Ajaypal, Dr. Suman Rani, Dr. Naveen, students and research scholars from various departments were present.
