CHANDIGARH,16.08.23-State Bank of India Local Head Office Chandigarh Circle celebrated 77^th Independence Day with full fervour and zeal on 15^th August 2023.-Shri Vinod Jaiswal, Chief General Manager of SBI Chandigarh Circle hoisted the National Flag at 9:00 am in the presence of senior Officials of the Bank and large gathering of Staff at Local Head Office Premises which was decorated in Tricolours. All present were filled with pride and reverence and saluted to the National Flag. Thereafter National Anthem was sung by the large gathering of Staff.

Shri Jaiswal in his address to the gathered Staff congratulated everyone on the occasion and also on the best ever performance recorded by State Bank of India which he said flowed from the work done by all Staff members. He said SBI is universally known to offer all Financial and Banking services to all citizens of India and is proud to be the Banker to every Indian. He said the Bank has the responsibility to play a vital role in our Nation’s economic growth by providing universal Banking in the best of both the worlds – Branch Banking and Digital Banking SBI is leading to deliver safe and secure Financial services for economic growth of all sectors and at all levels of Indian Economy.

A vibrant cultural programme on the occasion by Staff members and members of the SBI Ladies Club led by Smt. Priti Jaiswal, President of the SBI Ladies club, thrilled everyone present with patriotic joy.

The Bank also conducted CSR activity of donation bicycles to needy Girl students from Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School Chandigarh to mark the joyous occasion.
