Chandigarh, June 3 - Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala participated in more than 12 public programmes in Gannaur assembly constituency of Sonipat district today.
The Deputy Chief Minister said in his address at Uldepur village in Sonipat district that the government is firmly working for the benefit of the common people by formulating policies on the Common Minimum Programme.
The government is stepping ahead at a rapid pace for rural development as well as upliftment of farmers and deprived class in the state. He said that keeping in view the interests of the farmers today, the prices of the crops are being sent directly to their accounts by the government. Many welfare schemes are also being implemented for the upliftment of the weaker section and they are being given the benefits of the schemes in a time bound manner, so that they too can connect with the mainstream of the society.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Sonipat district will soon witness the golden era of development in coming time as the construction of Maruti-Suzuki in Kharkhoda and rail coach factory in Gannaur in the district will revolutionize the employment sector.
He said that Maruti-Suzuki is setting up its plant in Kharkhoda by investing Rs. 28,000 crores. He said that with the commencement of the Maruti-Suzuki plant in Kharkhoda, more companies will invest in this area, which will provide employment to the youth. He said that Kharkhoda will establish its own identity in the country.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that a Rail Coach Factory has been set up by the Central Government at Badi in Ganaur, where new technology rail coaches will be manufactured. Construction of the rail coach factory will provide employment to many youths in this area. He said that today the government is giving priority to rural development as rural areas significantly contributes towards the economy of the state. Development works are being done on priority by the government to provide basic facilities to the people in the villages. He also redressed the grievances of the people during his visit and gave directions to the officers to promptly redress the problems of the people.
