CM chairs a meeting regarding redevelopment and the master plan of Shree Mata Mansa Devi shrine in Panchkula

The shrine will be beautified on similar lines to the Kashi Vishwanath temple corridor

Chandigarh, June 3- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal chaired a key meeting regarding the redevelopment and master plan of the Shree Mata Mansa Devi shrine in Panchkula.

Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers concerned and the representatives of CBRI to ensure quick execution and implementation of this master plan so that beautification and development works could be started at the earliest.

The Chief Minister was apprised that the shrine will be beautified on similar lines to the Kashi Vishwanath temple corridor as per the plan. Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee had prepared the blueprint.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta Mayor, Panchkula, Sh. Kulbushan Goyal also remained present during the meeting.

During the meeting, a detailed presentation of the blueprint for the redevelopment of Shree Mata Mansa Devi Temple like that of Kashi was shared.

It was further informed that this also includes separate pathways for four-wheelers and pedestrians. A bus stop has also been proposed for the convenience of devotees visiting the temple.

The journey to Shrine begins in Shakti Dwar

In the meeting, it was informed that in the draft master plan, a special plan has been made to give a great look to the shrine entry. One will start from Shakti Dwar to reach the main temple. A Shakti Corridor will be made from here to the main temple and this will be named as Shakti Path. Walking on the Shakti Path, devotees will reach the main temple.

108 feet giant south-facing statue of Lord Hanuman will be the centre of the attraction

In the draft plan, a grand Hanuman Vatika will also be built at the Shrine site. A 108 feet giant south-facing statue of Lord Hanuman in ‘Vardahast Mudra’ will be the centre of attraction. This can be clearly seen even from a distance of about 1 kilometre i.e. Shakti Dwar. Apart from this, worship places, Narayan Seva Sthal, Nitya Park, Trikona Park etc. will also be established. There is also a proposal to start a laser show in the open-air theatre for the devotees and visitors. A provision has been made to make Shakti Chowk.

Heritage tourism will also get a significant boost

The renovation of the Mata Mansa Devi Shrine will be done in a phased manner. The government also aims to give a major boost to heritage tourism. A separate shopping complex will also be built here. Multi-level parking and a bus stop will also be built here. Separate walkways for vehicles and pedestrians are also included. An open-air theatre with a light and sound show will also be built, which will have a capacity of about 500 people.

Chandigarh, June 3: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that all such unauthorised colonies whose streets are more than three meters wide and main roads more than six meters wide will be regularised. Along with this, a plan regarding basic facilities to be provided in all such colonies will also be formulated.

The Chief Minister said this while addressing the people in Karnal’s Ward No. 4 today. He said that the main objective of the present state government is to provide maximum ease and convenience to the people with the spirit of service and welfare.

Two employees in every municipal council and municipal corporation office for work related to property ID correction

The Chief Minister said that directions have been issued to start a special campaign by deputing two employees in every municipal council and municipal corporation office for the work related to the property ID correction for the convenience of the people.

He said that the state government is collecting data by conducting a survey of every family which includes total number of members, numbers of unemployed and elderly people; so that various schemes related to it can be implemented for the welfare of the people.

The Chief Minister said that through the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), about 12.5 lakh ration cards have been made in the state. He said that those ration cards which are valid and have been wrongly cut due to some reason will be added to the same category again. He directed that the ward councilors should prepare a list of such persons from their respective wards and give them to the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner for the process of adding their names again.

He directed the officials to ensure that the families whose annual income is less than 1.80 lakh, are getting the benefits of the government schemes.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government has implemented CHIRAYU Haryana Yojana along with Ayushman Bharat Yojana to provide better health facilities to the poor families. Meanwhile, he directed the officers to conduct a survey and prepare a list of all the chaupals, community centres and dharamshalas in the district, for necessary repair work or new construction; as required.

The Chief Minister also observed two-minute silence to condole the loss of lives in the Odisha train accident.

Chief Minister interacts with operators of Common Service Centres, says CSC strong link between government and public

About 13,000 active common service centres operational in state, more than 12,500 services being provided through CSC

Chandigarh, June 3: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that several steps taken by the state government in the direction of digital governance in the last eight-and-a-half-years are proving effective for the citizens. He said that by reducing human intervention in the implementation of government schemes and programmes through e-governance, the benefits of all the schemes are being provided to the general public at their doorsteps.

“This has curbed corruption and the administrative processes have also gained momentum, with change in the old dilapidated system. As a result, today the administration has become smart (Simple, Moral, Accountable, Responsible, Transparent),” said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister was interacting with the Common Service Centre (CSC) operators through audio conferencing from Karnal today.

Any error or mistake in data uploaded by CSC will be rectified in 48 hours

During the interaction, the Chief Minister asked the CSC operators for information related to uploading data for the schemes, on which some CSC operators said that sometimes error occurs in entering the data on the portal at their level; due to which the eligible beneficiary gets delayed benefits. On this, the Chief Minister immediately directed the concerned officials that in case of any error or mistake in the data uploaded at the CSC level, it should be rectified within 48 hours; so that people do not have to wait long for the services.

Apart from this, the CSC operators also raised the issue of age verification of citizens above 60 years of age. On this, the Chief Minister said that the process of verification of the age group of 58 to 60 years is going on smoothly and the government will soon start the verification process of those above 60 years of age.

Common Service Centre, a strong link between government and public

Sh. Manohar Lal said that with good governance in the state, more than 500 schemes and services of the departments are being made available to the citizens online. “This has been possible only through CSC. They act as a link between the government and the public. About 13,000 active common service centres are operational in the state, where various types of 12,938 services are being provided,” he asserted. In the financial year 2022-23, over 1.72 crore transactions have taken place through CSC.

Haryana government playing leading role in realizing Prime Minister's vision of Digital India

The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government is playing a leading role in realizing Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of Digital India. He said that the objective of the Digital India campaign is to connect government departments with the people of the country and to ensure that government services are delivered electronically in paperless mode, in the shortest possible time, without any inconvenience. “In this direction, the state government is providing the benefits of schemes in a transparent manner by making Parivar Pechan Patra (PPP),” he added.

Present government, a service delivery government: CM

Sh. Manohar Lal said that the present state government has brought many radical changes in the system with the resolution of good governance. “Through service delivery, the Haryana government has raised the happiness index in the state. Good governance is paramount in the parameters of happiness and can be ensured only through good service delivery. With this spirit of public service, our government is called the government of service delivery,” he said.

Important link in direction of Digital India Ease of Living

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi had launched the Digital India Week last year stating that Digital India is going to strengthen Ease of Living and Ease of Doing Business. “In order to make the Digital India vision a success, in the direction of Ease of Living, the Haryana government is providing benefits of government schemes to the people at their doorsteps. There has been a lot of cooperation from the Common Service Centres in this work,” he added.

Pension benefit given to more than 64,000 elderly people through PPP

Sh. Manohar Lal said that today the pension for elderly is being made automatically through the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), after they complete the prescribed age for old age pension. Through this, the work of giving pension to more than 64,000 elderly people has been done.

Similarly, about 75 lakh CHIRAYU cards have been made under the Ayushman CHIRAYU Yojana to provide health services to the Antyodaya families of the state by using the data of the PPP. He said that the state government has also started the Nirogi Haryana Yojana for health check-ups of Antyodaya families. Under this scheme, health check-ups of 9.36 lakh poor people and about 62 lakh lab tests have been done in the last about five months. Apart from this, BPL cards of about 32 lakh families have been automatically made free of cost.

Responsibility to take care of citizens assigned to specific departments

Sh. Manohar Lal said that using the data available in the Parivar Pehchan Patra database, the state government has assigned the responsibility of taking care of citizens to specific departments. He said that the age group up to 6 years has been assigned to the Department of Women and Child Development, so that every needy child can be taken care of, irrespective of whether the child is currently attending an Anganwadi centre or not. The age group above 6 years and up to 18 years has been assigned to the school education department, so that the department will ensure that no child is deprived of education.

Similarly, the age group above 18 years and up to 25 years has been assigned to the Higher Education Department, so that they get opportunities for higher education and skill development. The age group of 25 years to 40 years has been assigned to the Department of Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship to ensure skill, entrepreneurship and employment for this age group.

Apart from this, the age group of 40 to 60 years will be taken care of by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department and the people above 60 years of age will be taken care of by the Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department.

Conduct survey of all colonies of Karnal before monsoon, Chief Minister to officials

Chandigarh, June 3: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that a survey regarding the water drainage system of Karnal will be conducted before the rainy season. He directed the municipal corporation commissioner to constitute a team of all the engineers and get the survey done at the earliest.

The Chief Minister was interacting with the people at Karnal’s Ward No. 14 today. He also listened to the grievances of the people and issued necessary directions to the officials to resolve them.

He directed the officials to prepare a list of all the colonies facing the problem of water-logging and conduct a survey to fix the problem of drainage. Besides, he also directed the officials to launch a special campaign regarding basic facilities like water, sewerage, drains, drainage etc, before the monsoon and to initiate work on these at the earliest.

Meanwhile, on the demand of the locals, the Chief Minister directed the officials to open common service centres (CSCs) for the people of the area; so that they do not have to travel far to apply for schemes and get the facility nearby.

He said that the state government has brought many radical changes in the system and has simplified the transfer policy so that the people do not have to make rounds of the offices. With this, the teachers of the state are happy. They have been transferred according to their zone and this is the first time that teachers have been transferred on the basis of seniority list. “This policy will be implemented in all such departments where there are more than 80 employees. In this, a provision has been made to give exemption to women,” he added.

The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of the present state government, jobs are being given on the basis of merit and ability, which has brought transparency. Also, the state government has launched CHIRAYU Haryana Yojana along with Ayushman Bharat Yojana, to provide health facilities to the poor families. He said that about 765 people of Ward No. 14 have got their Ayushman CHIRAYU cards made and have also got their treatment done in a private hospital.

He appealed to the people to get their Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) made as all schemes and policies are being prepared on the basis of this. He said that the PPP has been made necessary to avail the benefit of any scheme.

Chandigarh, June 3- Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the work of mapping related to health services will be completed within the next one month. He informed that at present the work of mapping has been completed in 13 districts of the state.

Sh. Vij was presiding over a review meeting with the officers of Health and Family Welfare Department in Chandigarh late last evening.

Health services and arrangements should be inspected – Vij

During the meeting, he directed the officers of the Health Department to depute the concerned officers to inspect the health services and arrangements being operated in the state and the report should be presented to him after conducting surprise inspections from time to time. Apart from this, he directed the officers to complete the work of setting up de-addiction centers in each hospital as soon as possible and the districts where private de-addiction centers are being operated should also be inspected.

PSA plant should be fully operational – Vij

Sh. Vij directed the officers that PSA plants should remain fully functional and it should be constantly maintained and repaired. Similarly, it was informed in the meeting that approval has been received from the Central Government for setting up 17 Critical Care Blocks and 22 District Integrated Health Laboratories.

Patient's information should be registered on e-upchar portal – Vij

It was informed in the meeting that CT scan facilities are operational in 17 districts and MRI facilities are being provided through PPP mode in 5 districts namely Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram and Panchkula. Similarly, Cathlabs are operational in four districts and tenders have been given to operate Cath Labs in three more districts namely Sonipat, Yamunanagar and Bahadurgarh. On this, the Health Minister said that for providing these services, each patient should have a log-in and should also be available on the e-upchar portal. Apart from this, ultrasound facilities are being provided in 22 districts of the state. It was informed in the meeting that a committee has been constituted to provide ECG facilities at the PHC level.

Directions for installation of modern PET Scan machine- Vij

During the meeting, the Health Minister gave directions to the officers of the Health Department to install modern PET scan machines. Apart from this, the district hospital in Fatehabad will now construct 450 beds. A 100-bed TB hospital will also be constructed in Ambala, for which approval of Rs 54.38 crores has been received. Apart from this, 66 sub-health centers of the state will be renovated.

Tenders for kitchens of hospitals will be float till June 15- Vij

It was informed in the meeting that dialysis services are being provided in 20 districts of the state and work is on to provide dialysis services in districts Kurukshetra and Charkhi Dadri. Similarly, it was apprised in the meeting that tenders will be floated by June 15 to provide kitchen facilities in civil hospitals.

Directing the higher officers, he said that biometric attendance of health officers and employees working in all civil hospitals, CHCs and PHCs should be taken. If there is any technical deficiency in the biometric machine, then it should be rectified immediately. He said that along with this a movement register should also be there.

In the meeting, HRMS, NQAP, training policy, biometric attendance etc. were discussed and deliberated upon to provide health services smoothly and the Health Minister gave directions to the officers. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Dr. G. Anupama and Director General of Health Services Dr. Sonia Khullar along with other officers were present.

During his visit to Yamunanagar district on Saturday, the Chief Secretary inspected the Amrit Sarovar being constructed at a cost of Rs. 69 lakhs in Sudhail village and Rs. 46 lakhs in Khundewala village. He informed that Mission Amrit Sarovar is an ambitious scheme of the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.

The Mission is aimed at developing and rejuvenating 75 water bodies in each district of the country as a part of celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. In order to ensure that there are no issues of water drainage in the villages, the central government plans to beautify Amrit Sarovar in villages across the country. In Yamuna Nagar, 75 Amrit Sarovars are being constructed.

Three Stations to be established in the Yamunanagar under Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor Railway (EDFCR) project

EDFCR will facilitate 700 containers imports and 600 containers exports in Yamunanagar: Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal

Chandigarh, June 3 -Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal said that the establishment of three new railway stations namely Kalanour, Jagadhari and Darazpur in the Yamunanagar district under Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor Railway (EDFCR) project will benefit industrial sector in the state. He said that to ensure benefits for the industries from these stations, a committee led by the Deputy Commissioner will be formed. This committee will gather information from the industries based in the area and accordingly facilitate services at the stations. The development of these railway corridors will not only benefit the local traders but also the industrialists up to Ponta Sahib. It was informed that the district imports 700 containers and exports 600 containers on regular basis.

The Chief Secretary further directed the Deputy Commissioner to prepare a plan in consultation with the officials of traders and Chambers of Commerce regarding the utilization of the three stations established in the district. He suggested organizing a seminar to provide information about the facilities at these stations.

The Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal was reviewing the ongoing development works in Yamunanagar district on Saturday.

Mr. Kaushal reviewed the progress of the Express Highway, Railway Corridor, and Medical College construction work with the officials. He emphasized the importance of carrying out development work with a clear vision.

Railway officials apprised that the work on the railway corridor is in its final stages. The New Kalanaur Junction and New Jagadhri Railway Junction are connected to the highway, which will greatly benefit the traders. On this occasion, railway officials raised concerns about the overflow of drains near the Saraswati Sugar Mill, causing water to stagnate on the railway tracks, thus hindering the construction of the railway station. Redressing the issue, the Chief Secretary immediately directed the officials of the Municipal Corporation and Public Health Department to explore possibilities of finding permanent solution of this problem. He said that loading and unloading activities will be carried out at the Kalanaur railway station. This railway station will benefit the people in the area.

Furthermore, the Chief Secretary emphasized the need for constructing four-lane road from the highway to connect Yamunanagar-Jagadhri. During the meeting, he inquired about the progress of road construction in the district and stressed the importance of completing all road projects in a time bound manner. He also sought information about the upcoming medical college to be built in Panjupur, with an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 1000 crore. The Chief Medical Officer confirmed that all the necessary procedures for the construction work of the medical college have been completed, and construction will commence soon.
