Chief Minister's big announcement, sub-tehsil status given to Sihma village
Through e-tendering, development will speed up in rural areas with transparency
Chandigarh, May 25: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today announced to give status of sub-tehsil to Mahendragarh’s Sihma village, while addressing a Jan Samvad programme at the village.
He said that e-tendering system will prove to be the foundation stone for the development of villages. “While this will bring transparency, the quality of the construction material used in the work will also be ensured,” he added.
The Chief Minister said that the government has fully empowered the sarpanches to get the development works done. He said that now all the work will be recorded in the system and the complete account of the development work can be easily maintained.
He said that the present state government has taken positive steps for the welfare of the people and has brought many radical changes in the system.
On power supply, the Chief Minister said that when the BJP government came to power in the year 2014, only 150 villages of the state had 24-hour power supply. “Taking positive steps, the present state government worked in this regard and decided to provide 24-hour power supply to villages that fulfill certain conditions. As a result, today 24-hour power supply is being ensured to 5600 villages of the state,” he addeed.
Government also decided to set up senior secondary schools at distance of 5 kms
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government while working towards the education sector has decided to open a girl’s college at a distance of 20 kilometres across the state. On these lines, it has also been decided to make provision of a senior secondary school within a radius of 5 kilometres in a bid to provide relief to the students from travelling long distances for education, he said.
The Chief Minister said that the Gram Darshan portal has also been started by the government to ensure rural development, which is a unique initiative in itself. He said that the state government has implemented various public welfare schemes including the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). “Through PPP, citizens are automatically getting the benefits of the government schemes,” he added.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. Om Parkash Yadav, MP Sh. Dharambir Singh and other dignitaries were present.

Medical Education and Research Minister Shri Anil Vij launches 'Online Registration Portal' of the Haryana State Council for Physiotherapy

Chandigarh, May 25- Haryana Medical Education and Research Minister Sh. Anil Vij today launched 'Online Registration Portal' of Haryana State Council for Physiotherapy today and said that it is necessary for physiotherapists to get registered to work in Haryana. This portal is another important step towards bringing transparency and will bring relief to the physiotherapists.
Sh. Vij said that online registration on this portal will saving time as well as money, digital automation, enhance efficiency, centralized database, error free functionality, improve communication, reduce paper work and bring transparency. During this, the minister also gave a certificate to physiotherapist Rahul.
The Medical Education and Research Minister said that if a physiotherapist is registered with the council of another state and is willing to work in the state, he will have to submit NOC of that council for registration in Haryana. If there is no council in that state, then verification of his degree will be done. He said that the entire process of making new registrations from this portal will be online from registration to check list, payment of amount, issue of receipt and registration certificate.
After launching the portal, Sh. Vij was informed that the Haryana State Council for Physiotherapy has 1936 registration manuals so far. He said that after the registration of the physiotherapist on the council, when the certificate will be issued to him, then any person can see the complete list on the website of the council.
Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education and Research Department Dr. Sumita Mishra, Director of Medical Education and Research Department Sh. Aditya Dahiya, Registrar of Haryana State Council for Physiotherapy Mrs. Rajni Malik and other officers of the department were present in the meeting.

Mool Chand Sharma on Thursday cautioned the vehicle owners to beware of the gangs selling duplicate number plates and advised them to install High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) and colour-coded stickers on their vehicles from the company notified by the department to avoid challan.
Chandigarh, May 25: Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma on Thursday cautioned the vehicle owners to beware of the gangs selling duplicate number plates and advised them to install High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) and colour-coded stickers on their vehicles from the company notified by the department to avoid challan.
The Transport Minister said this while referring to a gang busted by the police for selling duplicate number plates in the state; FIRs of which have been registered in Bhiwani and Faridabad.
He said that as per the orders of the Supreme Court and the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, it is mandatory to install High Security Registration Plates and colour-coded stickers on new and old vehicles in the state; which can be done by making online booking on www.hsrphr.com portal.
Apart from this, a request can also be made on this portal for home delivery of these from the concerned company Rosmerta Registration Plates Private Limited.
The Transport Minister said that in compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court, vehicles without High Security Registration Plates and colour-coded stickers would be challaned.

Chandigarh, May 25: The Haryana Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kauhsal today said that the state government is actively working on establishing special Non-Resident Indian (NRI) cells to address the grievances of Haryana's natives living abroad and safeguard their interests.
The Chief Secretary made this statement during the Videsh Sampark Programme, an event organized by the Foreign Cooperation Department of Haryana in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs at Panchkula today. The programme aims to enhance engagement with the diaspora and foster partnerships with state governments to tackle diaspora-related issues.
The Chief Secretary emphasized that these NRI cells would operate independently from the Police Department. Haryana prides itself on its diverse religious and cultural fabric, with a significant population of Sikhs, Muslims, and followers of other religions. Besides Hindi, which serves as the official language, Punjabi is recognized as the second language, and efforts have been made to recruit teachers to promote the Punjabi language as well, he added.
The Chief Secretary said, “unlike certain milestones in neighboring state that indicate distances to Canada and other countries in kilometers, but such things don’t prevails in Haryana. We are very progressive state. It is not the endeavour of our kids to go abroad only. The state government also ensures that the youth are provided with ample facilities for their development and progress within Haryana.”
Mr. Kaushal said that the Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship department has been instrumental in providing skill development training to young individuals, enabling them to settle abroad if they choose to do so.
Furthermore, Mr. Kaushal stated that the state government is actively organizing seminars in universities and colleges to educate the youth about higher education and employment opportunities overseas. These initiatives play a crucial role in equipping students with valuable information and insights about studying and working in foreign countries. Through participation in these seminars, students can gain knowledge about various educational institutions, scholarship programs, admission processes, and employment prospects abroad. Such endeavors are expected to greatly benefit the students and contribute to their informed decision-making regarding international education and employment options.
While addressing the audience, Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, Secretary (CPV & OIA) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), emphasized the pivotal role played by the ministry in shaping foreign policy and managing international relations, as well as in fostering cultural engagement and implementing soft policies for citizens. He underscored the importance of safeguarding students from falling into the clutches of fake immigration agents and fraudulent practices.

Chandigarh, May 25– Haryana Government will align the state's right of way (RoW) with central rules, as outlined in the Communication and Connectivity Infrastructure (CCIP) Policy, to enhance 5G services across the state.
This was stated by the Chief Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Kaushal while presiding over the meeting of State Broadband Committee here today.
Mr. Kaushal highlighted the significance of aligning the state's RoW with central rules in order to provide high-quality 5G broadband services to consumers. This alignment will greatly benefit the delivery of 5G services.
To ensure a seamless experience for citizens, the Chief Secretary stressed the importance of obtaining prior permission for any excavation required for laying BTS cables in various areas such as roads, streets, traffic lights, buildings, and bus stands. He asked the officers to establish a robust monitoring mechanism to effectively oversee this process. Furthermore, the Chief Secretary said that there is need to reduce the charges for installation of 5G BTS.
In compliance with the central rules, the Chief Secretary mentioned that bank guarantees will be required for the installation of underground cables and repairs during excavation. Additionally, no charges will be imposed for installing towers on private land and buildings.
The Chief Secretary also emphasized the completion of mapping street furniture through the PM Gati Shakti NMP portal. Application forms for utilizing street furniture for the 5G rollout will be developed and made available on the Invest Haryana portal.
The Chief Secretary directed the officials to expedite the processing of RoW applications within a predefined timeframe. He also directed them to consider the Structure Stability Certificate (SSC) from authorized structural engineers, as per the provisions in the CCIP.

Additional Chief Secretary, Foreign Cooperation Department, Dr. Raja Sekhar Vundru today disclosed that Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam is in the process to get registered as an authorized Recruiting Agent. Foreign Cooperation Department (FCD) is closely working with Ministry of External Affairs, Recruiting Agents, Overseas Employers and another relevant department from Haryana. While speaking on the 'Videsh Sampark Programme', he said that FCD has developed Haryana Overseas Placement Portal to provide overseas opportunities to the youth of Haryana.
While addressing the issue of immigration fraud, Mr. TVSN Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Home said that Haryana Government has launched a dedicated helpline to report such cases. He stressed the need for collaboration between the Ministry of External Affairs and the State government, proposing the establishment of a platform to efficiently handle illegal immigration-related matters. These initiatives reflect the government's commitment to protect citizens from fraudulent immigration practices and ensure their security and welfare in Haryana.
