CHANDIGARH,09.05.23-On behalf of the Thalassaemic Charitable Trust, on the occasion of International Thalassemia Day on 8th May 2023, Dr. Deepak Bansal & Dr. Srinivas, Deptt. of Hematology and Oncology Unit, APC, PGI performed the Cake Ceremony in the presence of Urmimala Bhattacharjee, Medical Officer, Staff of Thalassemic Charitable Trust and all the Thalassaemics present in the Thalassemia ward in APC PGIMER. Further, cake and sweets , juices and cold drink were distributed to the children and their parents. Thalassemic children and parents appreciated the Thalassemic Charitable Trust and thanked them for the facilities like free medicines, medical tests and the doctors and nursing staff in the ward.
Member Secretary -Sh. Rajinder Kaira; Mrs. Sapna Gambhir, Executive Member of the Thalassaemic Charitable Trust thanked all the doctors, Thalassemic children and their parents and blessed them with a healthy and long life.
