CHANDIGARH,21.03.23-Police Station Cyber Crime of Chandigarh Police has organized valediction programme of 2nd batch of cyber interns-cum- cyber awareness session under Cyber Swachhta Mission today i.e. 21st march, 2023 at Tagore Theater, Sector-18, Chandigarh.

H.E. Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab –cum- Administrator UT Chandigarh was the chief guest and Sh. Anoop Gupta, Mayor UT Chandigarh, Sh. Dharampal IAS, Advisor to the Administrator & Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary were the Guest of Honour.

The senior officers of Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh Police and the Editors of various Newspapers, principals of different colleges & representative from RBI, Infosys were invited in aforesaid event.

Following Activity were the part of event:-

• Approx. 1200 persons i.e. Cyber Interns, students from Government Schools, members of RWA/MWA, Senior Citizens etc. attended the event.
  • Valediction of 2^nd Batch of Cyber Internship and certification.
  • Release of Booklet on Cyber Swachhta Mission.
  • Presentation of Audio- Visual on Cyber Swachhta Mission.
  • Awareness session and other activity will be performed by Cyber Interns.
  • Announcement of 3^rd Cyber Internship Batch.
  • Flagging off ceremony, Bullet proof Kavach vehicle and Handing over Rugged MDTS and Cyber Awareness Van.
  • Prize distribution to following:-
    • Top five (5) best interns of 2nd Batch Internship – 1st Nakul Phull from SD College, 2nd Payal Gulati from MCM College, 3rd Yavneeka from MCM College, 4th Arshpreet SD College & 5th Abhishek Goel CEC, Landra.
    • Two teams of best presentation on cybercrime/Cyber Security.
    • 1^st three winners of drawing competition held at Govt. school level on theme of cyber awareness. – 1^st Khushdeep from GMSSS Sarangpur, Chandigarh and 2^nd Archana from GMSSS Sector-26, Chandigarh
