The Chief Minister was interacting with the delegation of Uttarakhand Yuva Manch in Chandigarh.

The delegation of the Uttarakhand Yuva Manch expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing financial assistance to them for organizing the Kauthig programme. The Chief Minister said that the youth club is actively participating in works like financial assistance in the education of poor children, blood donation camps and tree plantation drives.

On the occasion, Uttarakhand Yuva Manch, president, Vasudev Sharma, general secretary, Sanjay Jakhmola, joint secretary, Ashutosh Kothari, additional joint secretary, Arvind Rawat and convener, Bharat Pawar felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting bouquet and mementos.

Chandigarh, March 19: Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the state government is continuously working in the interest of the society and its aim is to bring the benefits of every scheme made for the citizens at the ground level with transparency. “Moving in the direction of ‘Ease of Living’, we have to bring change in the standard of living of the citizens,” he added.

The Chief Minister was addressing the BJP workers of six Lok Sabha constituencies at Samalkha in Panipat district on Sunday. He called upon the party workers to work unitedly to take the schemes and achievements of the government to the masses. “The state government has launched important schemes to strengthen the economic condition of the needy, farmers and backward classes; so that their standard of living could be improved,” he added.

Rising above politics of regionalism and nepotism, ensured uniform development of state

“Following the mool mantra of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas aur Sabka Vishwas’, we had given the slogan of ‘Haryana Ek- Haryanvi Ek’ in the year 2014 to ensure uniform development of the state,” said Sh Manohar Lal. He said that in the last 8 years, the state government, by rising above the politics of regionalism and nepotism; has got development works done in all the 90 assembly constituencies. “Today, Haryana is ahead of many states in the country on the path of development,” he asserted.

Scathing attack on corruption, crime, and caste-based politics

The Chief Minister said that the present state government works on one principle. “The government has made a scathing attack on 3-C; corruption, crime and caste-based politics. We have adopted a zero tolerance policy to curb corruption. Corruption in the society will not be tolerated at all,” he said, adding that the state government has also laid emphasis on education, health, self-respect, security and self-reliance.

He said that the central and the state government have launched several welfare schemes for the citizens. In Haryana, eligible citizens are getting the benefit of every scheme sitting at home through the Parivar Pehchan Patra.

Prior to this programme, the Chief Minister was welcomed by Lok Sabha MP, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia, Rajya Sabha MP, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, MLA Sh. Pramod Vij and others; on his arrival at Seva Sadhna and Gram Vikas Kendra. On the occasion, BJP Haryana in-charge, Sh. Biplab Kumar Deb, BJP state president, Sh. Om Prakash Dhankar and people's representatives of six Lok Sabha constituencies were present.

Postage stamp issued in name of Lord Parshuram

Chief Minister expresses gratitude to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

Chandigarh, March 19: Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for Railways and Communications, Electronics and Information Technology, Sh. Ashwini Vaishnaw for issuing a postage stamp in the name of Lord Parshuram.

Notably, during the Lord Parshuram Mahakumbh organized in Karnal, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal had made several announcements; including the announcement of issuing a special commemorative postage stamp in the name of Lord Parshuram.

The Chief Minister had written a letter to Union Minister, Sh. Ashwani Vaishnaw on January 23, 2023, to issue appropriate directions to the Department of Posts to consider issuing a postage stamp in the name of Lord Parshuram and today the Chief Minister's announcement got a concrete form.
