CHANDIGARH,07.023.23-Seven Days Special NSS (Day-Night) camp ended with Valedictory function organised by State NSS Open Unit, UT Chandigarh from 1st to 7th February, 2023 held at Goverment Model High School, (RC-2), Dhanas. On the eve of valedictory function Dr. Ashish Gautam, Social Activist joined as a Chief Guest along with State Liaison Officer (NSS) Prof. Nemi Chand from Education Department, Chandigarh and Sh. Sanjay Malik, Team Leader SAWAYAM from Chandigarh Police and Principal G.M.H.S. RC-2, Dhanas as a Guest of Honor. Around 40 NSS Volunteers from NSS Open Unit and 10-school volunteers joined the special camp.
Under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Sh. Binesh Bhatia, NSS-OU this Special Camp has about 20 Guest lectures with 6 Out-door activities in the seven days by professional coaches. The sessions include topics like Role of Youth in Nation Building, Environment Enrichment, Waste Management, Inclusive Education, Developing communication skills and Personality Development.
In Presidential remarks, Prof. Nemi Chand Goliya State Liaison Officer appreciated overall efforts of the NSS Open Unit. Mrs. Ravinder Kaur, GMHS RC-2 Dhanas presented vote of thanks to all and specially thanked NSS Programme Officer Sh. Binesh Bhatia, Unit Coordinator Ms.Ritika Verma and their team to adopt the school for this special camp.

The organising team lead by NSS Programme Officer Sh. Binesh Bhatia, Ritika Verma, Vivek Kumar, Ravinder Chauhan, Dr.Arun Bansal ensured school administration to stay in touch for upcoming community activities with school.
