Two arrested under Arms act

Chandigarh Police arrested Amit R/o # 683/1, Sector-38A, Chandigarh, (Age-28 years) and recovered one Kamanidar knife from his possession near UIET Gate, Dental College Turn, Sector-25, Chandigarh on 20.01.2023. A case FIR No. 16, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Aman R/o # 1865/1, Rajiv Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula, HR (Age 18 Years) and recovered one Kamanidar knife from his possession near Govt. Tubewell, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 20.01.2023. A case FIR No. 12, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Chandigarh Police arrested Punarpreet Singh R/o VPO Parwala Fillour, Distt. Jalandhar (PB) (Age 19 years) & Rohin Kumar R/o Village Ujala Fillour, Distt. Jalandhar (PB) (Age 23 years) who was arrested while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at public place i.e. near Park, Sector-7C, Chandigarh on 20.01.2023. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Case registered against persons failed to appear in Court

A case FIR No. 36, U/S 174-A IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the orders of the Hon’ble court of JMIC UT, Chandigarh against Mukesh Dhamija, Authorized Signatory of Auto Enterprises R/o Plot No. 155, Sector 21, Panchkula, Haryana who was declared PO by the hon’ble court but did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court in pursuance of issuance of the proclamation. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 37, U/S 174-A IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the orders of the Hon’ble court of JMIC UT, Chandigarh against Richa Sharma R/o # 460, Prem Nagar, Ludhiana Central, Punjab who was declared PO by the hon’ble court but did not appeared before the Hon’ble Court in pursuance of issuance of the proclamation. Investigation of the case is in progress.
