CHANDIGARH,27.12.22-Thalassaemic Charitable Trust PGI-GMCH in coordination with Guru ka Langar Sewa Society, Jalalabad District Fazilka, Punjab organised its 269^th Blood Donation Camp on 25^th Dec 2022 under the Guidance of Department of Transfusion Medicine PGIMER.

The camp was organised to commemorate sacrifice of four Sahibzadas and Shahidi week. 49 Hon'ble Blood Donor's donated blood for Thalassaemics and other serious patients requiring blood support and 09 Donors were rejected due to technical reasons. Langar was also distributed to poor people/ patients and attendants in PGIMER.

Rajinder Kalra, Member Secretary of Trust expressed deep gratitude to Shri Sangam Singh Kamra and his associates of Guru ka Langar Sewa Society, Jalalabad for coming to PGIMER Chandigarh to donate blood for Thalassemics, all respected blood donors and Head, Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER and his team for conducting this Blood Donation camp.
