CHANDIGARH,03.12.22-Under the guidance of Sh. Praveer Ranjan, IPS, DGP, U.T. Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Manoj Kumar Meena, IPS, SSP, Headquarters & Training, special Training Programs under “Mission Karmayogi” are being conducted for Chandigarh Police personnel in Recruit Training Centre, Sector-26, Chandigarh.

This Training Program on “Karmayogi Police -Custodians of Society” designed by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Government of India was inaugurated by DGP, UT., Chandigarh. 9 Master Trainers (3 Dy.SPs, 5 Inspectors and 01 Sub Inspector), trained at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad are providing training in these training programs.

Chandigarh Police has taken up this training in a mission mode manner and has till date completed the training of 1070 Police personnel (Inspector, SI, ASI, HC & Constable).

This Training Program is being monitored by Capacity Building Commission, GOI. Sh. Praveen Pardeshi, Member (Admin), Capacity Building Commission, GOI and Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Member (HR), Capacity Building Commission, GOI have visited during the program and interacted with the participants. A third party audit of outcome of these training programs is also being got conducted by CBC through Indian School of Business.

The main objective of this training program is to train the Chandigarh Police Personnel to solve the problems of citizens with “SEWA BHAV”, when they approach them. This will lead to positive relationship between the police and the community we serve and a better positive image for the police force in society.
