Chandigarh November 5, 2022-Central Placement Cell in collaboration with Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology, Panjab University organized twodays workshop on Personality Development & Communication Skills.

Prof. Meena Sharma, Director Central Placement Cell, welcomed the speakers and highlighted the need for soft skills session. She apprised the audience about various activities undertaken by central placement cell like webinars, workshops, placement drives focused on overall development and welfare of the students of Panjab University.

Eminent corporate trainers shared their expertise and experience with the students of Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology The program started with a lecture on "Personality Development" by Dr. Amandeep Kahlon.She highlighted how overall personality of students can be helpful for placement.Mr. V.K. Kapoor trained students in communication skills. He shared some valuable principles of Communication. He advised the students to keep an alignment with what you say and what your heart believes. Dr. Manvinder talked about Resume Writing. She shared with students how to create an effective Resume and also told them the most common errors the students were making in their resumes. Briefing about healthy habits for building an impressive personality he talked about importance of reading and listening. Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, ex- GM, ISUZU Ltd from his long experience in the field, highlighted the important points students should take care in corporate interviews. Dr. Jagdish Rai, Placement Coordinator of IFSC, thanked the speakers and Central Placement Cell for conducting this workshop.
