CHANDIGARH,25.09.23-Department of Cosmetology of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Sector 36-A, Chandigarh organised a two-day workshop on Career Opportunities in Beauty and Permanent Makeup. Ms. Deepika, Manager, VLCC School of Beauty, Sector 34-A, Chandigarh acquainted the students with careers in the beauty industry. Experts from Tress Lounge, Sector 8, Chandigarh Ms. Komal and Ms. Sneh were the resource persons for the next segment on basic makeup and permanent makeup. Ms. Komal demonstrated basic makeup and Ms. Sneh explained the latest permanent makeup including micro-needling, microblading, etc.
Principal of the college, Dr. Nisha Bhargava stressed upon the need for women to be financially independent and explore their potential in whichever field they choose. She applauded the efforts of the Department of Cosmetology in exposing students to various opportunities in the field.
