MOHALI,24.09.23-Department of Radiology and Image Technology, University School of Allied Health Sciences organised 1st ICME-2023, on 23rd September, 2023 in collaboration with the RAD-AID International (USA) and Association of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, PGIMER, Chandigarh at University Auditorium, Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, Pb. on the Theme: Emerging Technology and Techniques in Mammographic Imaging.

The primary focus of this conference was to provide a platform for skill development and refresher course for Radiological Technologists and Students of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology.

Speakers from India and abroad with their expertise and profound knowledge in the field of Mammographic Imaging contributed to the event and provided invaluable insights to the audience.

Honourable Sdr.Gurvinder Singh Bahra the Chief Guest and Dr.Ravinder Kaur, Prof.& Head Radiology, GMCH-32, Chandigarh the Guest of Honor along with worthy VC and Dean Academic inaugurated the event of 1st ICME-2023, which was held in Hybrid Mode using You tube and Zoom(for the convenience of global audience).

Dr.Harnoor Singh and Ms.Olive Peart were the international speakers from USA while Dr.Lalit Gupta and Ms.Madhu were amongst the National speakers. Scientific sessions were Chaired by Prof.S.S.Gill, Dr.Ravinder Kaur, Dr.N.Khandelwal, Dr.S.C.Bansal, Mr.Mohan Bhagwat and Mr.Suresh Malayath.

More than 150 delegates in physical mode and more than 300 delegates attended the ICME in virtual mode. CME ended with students of RIT presenting a cultural programme.
