The Ninth Convocation of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is going to be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said, "1053 students and research scholars will be awarded Ph.D., M.Phil., graduate and post-graduate degrees in this convocation". Further, he said that the former Governor of Assam Prof. Jagdish Mukhi will be the Chief Guest of the convocation and former Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Prof. K. C. Sharma will grace the event as a Guest of Honour.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that in the Ninth Convocation, degrees will be awarded to a total of 1053 students and research scholars who have passed in the previous year. In connection with the event, a meeting was held on 17th March 2023, under the Chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Controller of Examinations, Dean Academic, Finance Officer, senior officials and coordinators of various committees constituted for the preparations and smooth conduct of the event. The necessary plans and preparations for the event were finalized.

The Vice-Chancellor said that the University is fully prepared for the ninth convocation and preparations related to it will be completed soon. While sharing the highlights of the programme, the Controller of Examinations of the University Prof. Rajeev Kaushik said, "This time 22 PhD degrees, 18 M.Phil degrees and graduation and post graduation degree to 1013 students shall be awarded. As far as the gold medalists are concerned, 43 students will be awarded gold medals for their excellent performance in the academics. As far as genderwise students are concerned, 598 male and 455 female are included in the total of 1053 students and research scholars who will get degrees in this convocation. Under the UG courses B.Tech. degree will be awarded to 120 students and B.Voc. degree will be awarded to 112 students and to 781 students in postgraduate courses." The ninth convocation will also have the presence of alumni, parents, media persons, and local community as well.
