Veer Baal Diwas was observed in the Child Care Institutions of U.T. Chandigarh in accordance with the directions of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor said that the martyrdom of the Chhote Sahibzadas is an eternal source of inspiration for the human race to stand resolutely against injustice and to uphold moral values with courage and conviction.

Veer Baal Diwas was observed in the Child Care Institutions of U.T. Chandigarh in accordance with the directions of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India.

The seminar was held on 24.12.2025 in the auditorium of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Sector-19, Chandigarh. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Sh. N.K. Jhinghan, Secretary General, Consumer Association Chandigarh.

वार्ड संख्या 23 की एरिया पार्षद प्रेमलता ने सेक्टर-43 में सरकारी मेडिकल डिस्पेंसरी की शीघ्र स्थापना के लिए स्वास्थ्य निदेशक सौरव कुमार अरोड़ा तथा संयुक्त आयुक्त ईशा कंबोज से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान उन्होंने डिस्पेंसरी स्थापना में सहयोग एवं शीघ्र कार्रवाई की प्रार्थना की।

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of Municipal Corporation to fix appropriate daily parking charges and, if required, introduce monthly parking passes for tourist buses

बैठक का उद्देश्य व्यापार से संबंधित समस्याओं पर विचार-विमर्श करना तथा वर्ष 2026–27 की आबकारी नीति के निर्माण के लिए हितधारकों से महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव प्राप्त करना था। बैठक में आबकारी विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।

Offering floral tributes at Punjab Lok Bhawan, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria said that with the demise of Shri Shivraj Patil Ji, the country has lost an experienced statesman, an able administrator, and a respected parliamentarian. “We deeply mourn the passing away of Shri Shivraj Patil Ji,” the Governor said.
