The meeting was attended by Col. Sanjeev Sahi, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), along with officials from the NDRF and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) through video conferencing. ITBP and NDMA organise two-day Integrated Symposium on Disaster Management

On the occasion of Poshan Maah 2026, a series of awareness and community-based activities were organized across different Anganwadi Circles of Chandigarh, with a focus on promoting nutrition, maternal and child health, anaemia prevention and healthy practices among beneficiaries and families.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) was held today under the chairmanship of Shri H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS, Chief Secretary, Union Territory, Chandigarh-cum-Chairman, Chandigarh Housing Board.

An AYUSH Camp and a PMMVY Camp were also organized at Mauli Colony for pregnant and lactating women.

The activities aimed to strengthen awareness at the community level and promote healthy dietary practices, prevention of anaemia, maternal and child health, and access to government welfare schemes during Poshan Maah 2026.
