शिमला: हिमाचल प्रदेश विधान सभा अध्यक्ष कुलदीप सिंह पठानियां आज पूर्वाह्न 11:45 बजे वायुमार्ग द्वारा चण्डीगढ़ से दिल्ली तथा पश्चिम बंगाल की राजधानी कोलकाता पहॅुँचे। जहाँ उन्होने समिति प्रणाली की समीक्षा हेतु आयोजित पीठासीन अधिकारी सम्मेलन तथा 18वी पश्चिम बंगाल विधान सभा के नव निर्वाचित विधायकों के लिए पश्चिम बंगाल विधान सभा तथा लोक सभा में संसदीय अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (PRIDE) के संयुक्त तत्वधान में आयोजित औरिएन्टेशन कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। गौरतलब है कि यह लोक सभा सचिवालय के तहत एक प्रमुख प्रशिक्षण संस्थान है जो सांसदों, विधायकों, अधिकारियों तथा अन्य हितधारकों को संसदीय प्रक्रियाओं और लोकतंत्र के मामलों में प्रशिक्षित करता है। यह संस्थान लोक सभा अध्यक्ष के मार्गदर्शन में काम करता है और प्रशासनिक रूप से लोक सभा महासचिव की देख रेख में संचालित होता है।समिति प्रणाली की समीक्षा हेतु लोक सभा अध्यक्ष द्वारा 7 राज्य विधान मण्डलों की समिति का गठन किया गया है जिसके चेयरपर्सन मध्य प्रदेश विधान सभा के पीठासीन अधिकारी नरेन्द्र सिंह तोमर हैं जबकि राजस्थान विधान सभा अध्यक्ष बासूदेव देवनानी, उत्तर प्रदेश विधान सभा अध्यक्ष सतीश महाना, हि0प्र0 विधान सभा अध्यक्ष कुलदीप सिंह पठानियां, सिक्किम विधान सभा अध्यक्ष मिगंमा नोरबू शेरपा, उड़ीसा विधान सभा अध्यक्ष सूरमा पाड़ी तथा पश्चिम बंगाल विधान सभा अध्यक्ष रथिन्द्र बसु इसके सदस्य है।
