Chandigarh, December 6 - Haryana Home Minister Mr. Anil Vij today met Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah, Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh and Union minister for road transport, Mr. Nitin Gadkari. During the meeting, the Home Minister discussed about various development projects going in the State. The Minister also urged the Union Ministers’ for the execution of pending works of the State.

While, meeting, Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh, Mr. Anil Vij discussed about the obstacles being faced in the construction of the Domestic Airport at Ambala Cantonment. He said that the construction of an airport in Ambala Cantonment will enable Ambala to make a special identity on the national map. Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh, assured the State Home Minister that he would soon call a high level meeting with the senior officials of the Airport Authority to discuss this issue so that appropriate decision can be taken soon regarding the construction work of the airport.

Later, Mr. Vij met the Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah at his office and discussed the steps being taken by the State Government to further improve law and order situation in Haryana. Mr. Vij also met Union minister for road transport Mr. Nitin Gadkari and discussed about the construction of the bridge on the Ring Road at Ambala Cantonment and the GT Rod near Shastri Colony.

Mr. Vij said that the problem of traffic on the highway would be solved by the formation of ring road. He said that due to the construction of a bridge in the cantonment, there will be decrease in accidents and problems faced by people will also be resolved.
