SHIMLA -14 July, 2019-Governor Acharya Devvrat while addressing people at a program organized by Marvel Homes at Ludhiana said that over usage of ground water by Punjab and consumption of water at present rate will create desert like situations in 25 years, this was said by.

He said that excessive use of Urea and other chemical fertilizers is polluting the ground water and causing diseases like Cancer. He said that these fertilizers are making the Global Warming situation even more worse.

Governor said that farmers of Punjab can become prosperous and state can become disease free by adopting natural farming. He said that Himachal has adopted the natural framing from which the favorable outcome has come. He said that Natural farming can play a vital role in doubling framers income.

Governor and Chief Minister expresses grief over Building collapse in Kumarhatti

Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur expressed grief over the collapse of private hotel building near Kumarhatti in district Solan in which two persons has died.

In his condolence message, the Governor prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss and wished speedy recovery of injured.

Expressing grief over the accident, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that he was saddened to hear about the loss of precious lives in this tragic incident. He has conveyed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.

Chief Minister has ordered inquiry into the incident and also directed authorities to provide best medical facilities to the injured.

The teams of the district administration and NDRF along with team of doctors and ambulances rushed to the spot immediately on receiving information about the incident and are engaged in the rescue operation. According to the reports two persons has died and 22 injured people have already been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. He assured that remaining persons will be rescued as soon as possible.
