Mohali , August 17, 2022: “By making Brahmgyan the basis of our life, being attached to the Formless and remembering Him every moment, living by adopting the spirit of service is real devotion. The lives of ancient saints and devotees were meaningful only by connecting with Brahmgyan.” These words were expressed by Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj while addressing a large gathering on the occasion of ‘Mukti Parv’ Samagam. Satguru Mata Ji stated in Her blessings that, real liberation is not only having knowledge of Brahmgyan but, living it every moment only then the direction and state becomes same.

Satguru Mata Ji explained the importance of spiritual freedom in our life with a reference that, just as there is a desire to be free from any kind of bondage of the body, similarly our soul is in bondage since birth and the liberation of this soul is only possible through God Realization. When we become aware of our own destination only then our soul attains the liberated state. After that, the divine light of Brahmgyan teaches us to live a fear free life by erasing all the negative feelings prevailing in the mind and only then our world becomes happy and so does the life there after. Liberation from the bondage of karma is possible through the knowledge of Brahmgyan because it enables us to live in the will of God. Every aspect of our life is based on our thinking; absence of anything makes us sad or worried; liberation from this is also possible only by taking help of Almighty Nirankar.

Every year 15 August, i.e. 'Independence Day' is also celebrated as 'Mukti Parv' by the Sant Nirankari Mission. On this day, where the Indian freedom fighters are payed tribute to alongside, we bow down in reverence to our spiritual leaders who awakened us through spiritual awareness. The divine figures Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji and Jagat Mata Budhawanti Ji, who made every living soul aware of the divine light of True Knowledge. While paying homage to Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji, Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji and other devotees, inspiration is obtained by all the devotees from their lives.

Since August 15, 1964, this day was being dedicated to the life of Jagat Mata Budhwanti Ji and then from 1970 to the life of Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji. The Nirankari world will always be indebted to Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji for His vital contributions to Sant Nirankari Mission. In 1979, when Labh Singh ji, the first president of Sant Nirankari Mandal, renounced his mortal body, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji named this day as 'Mukti Parv'. Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji, with Her faith and dedication, took the divine message of the Mission to every nook and corner of the world. In the month of August, She too renounced Her mortal body. Mata Savinder Hardev Ji took over the reins of the Mission in the year 2016 in the form of Satguru. Prior to that, for 36 years, She continuously gave Her full cooperation in every field to Baba Hardev Singh Ji and blessed every devotee of the Nirankari Mission with Her love. She was a living example of love, compassion and divine power.

In the end, Satguru Mata Ji said that, when we make Nirankar the basis of our life giving priority to Sewa, Simran and Satsang then, we hue ourselves in the colors of this Nirankar and we free ourselves from all ego.

In this Sant Samagam, a book “Yug Nirmata” was released by Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj which contains the collection of thoughts of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji.
