LUCKNOW/CHANDIGARH, 15.05.22-Today on the eve of World Orthodontic Health Day, the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics and the Georgian Alumni Association at the King George’s Medical University has successfully organised the Alumni Guest Lectures along with awareness drive.

Prof. & Head Dr G. K. Singh organised the event, addressed the gathering, elaborated on the use of Laser in Orthodontics and Dentistry, and shared his experience.

The inaugural lecture of the series was delivered by Ex. Prof. Sarabjeet Singh, Vice President of the Indian Orthodontic Society. He discussed the role of lasers in Orthodontics & Dentistry and showed hundreds of his cases treated by Laser technology. He also presented the oral ulcer cases and enlarged gum cases treated by Laser. Dr Sarabjeet Singh,Vice President of Indian Orthodontic Society and Convenor of Chandigarh Orthodontic study circle also emphasized on the drawbacks of online aligners and the importance of consulting an Orthodontist for braces treatment.
The event’s Chief Guest, Hon’ble V.C. Lt.Gen.(Dr.) Bipin Puri graced the occasion and emphasised on the importance of awareness among general public about Orthodontics.
