Chandigarh 13.11.21: All India Ayurvedic Congress. New Delhi organized Ayurved Pary sponsored by Govt. of India Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi at Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Sector 46-B, Chandigarh which will be from 12" Nov., 2021 to 14th Nov. 2021.
Parv was inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor of Punjab cum Administrator Chandigarh UT Sh Banwan Lal Purohit J. Sh. Banwari lal Purohit ji and Dr. Raj Kumar Verka, Minister of medical Education and Research, Punjab presider over the inaugural function. In additional to that Padam Shri Padam Bhushan Vd. Devendra Triguna Ji, President, All India Ayurvedic Congress, Shri Alok Shakhar, Principal Secretary, Medical Education and Research. Sh. Yash Pal Garg, IAS. Secretary, AYUSH and Health, Chandigarh UT, Vd. Jayant Deopujari, Chairman, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, GOI, Vd. Manoj Nessari, Advisor, Ministry of AYUSH, GOI. Dr. Tanuja Manoj Nessari, Director, All India institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi graced the occasion with their presence and addressed the audience. In the welcome speech Dr. Rakesh Sharma, President, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, GOI, who is also president of the Vaidya Sabha Chandigarh welcomed the dignities and told about the functioning and history of Ayurved Mahasamelan and how it is propagating Ayurved in the Country and across the borders since year 1907.
Vd. Devender Triguna Ji requested Hon'ble Governor and Hon'ble Minister to upgrade the lone Govt. Ayurvedic Govt. Patiala as there s staff shortage in this college and no regular appointment has been made in past many years and most the vacancies of Teachers in this college are lying vacant. He also states that funds of various schemes of National AYUSH mission are lying pending with Ayurveda department Punjab which needs to be spent speedily. He also requested Hon'ble Minister to start Govt. Ayurvedic College at Mohali where Govt medical College and Govt. Dental College are already being established
He also requested Hon'ble Governor to establish a Govt Ayurvedic College Chandigarh as Ministry of AYUSH has already provided a part of funds for that. He requested Administrator Chandigarh to appoint separate technical director for AYUSH directorate for better establishment of AYUSH services in UT Chandigarh
Hon'ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh Shri Banwari Lal. Purohit addressed the audience and assured the students that future is theirs. He said that funds is not the problems for Ayurveda as far as UT Chandigarh is concerned and if any administrative matter is pending at any level in the Administration it will be cleared immediately. He asked the students to propagate Ayurveda among the masses. He asked that find the land for College in Chandigarh and file will be cleared immediately Sh Raj Kumar Verka, said that work to establish Ayurvedic college at Mohali will be started by tomorrow only. He also said that committee has been already constituted to look into the matter of vacant posts at Govt. Ayurvedic College, Patiala
Sh. Alok Shekhar told that Govt, of Punjab has also organised 14 Arogya Melas across the Punjab from year 2008 to year 2020. He said that selections of former Dean colleges Dr. Rakesh Sharma as President of Board of Ethics and regulation, National Commission of Indian system of Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi and former Controller of Examination Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Dr. Ish Sharma who has been deputed to Mauritius to promote Ayurveda in that country are matter of pride for our department and Govt. of Punjab as well. Sh. Manoj Nesari Ji describe about the various scheme started by the GOI, Ministry of AYUSH for the propagation of the AYUSH and in the country and across the world. Dr. Tanuja Nesari ji, told about the success story of Covid management at All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi. Sh. Jayant Deopujari told that if any proposal to set up Govt. Ayurvedic College is made to the commission, permission will be immediately granted
Free consultation by Ayurvedic and Yoga experts was provided to the people in the Parv and free medicines were distributed People visited Ayurvedie stalls established by Pharma Companies in the Parv Entry to the Pary was free. There were lectures on public health issues by eminent Ayurvedic Experts for general public and students as well.
Whole Parv was organised under the guidance of Vd Devender Triguna ji. Dr. Sanjeev Goyal Registrar, Board of Ayurveda and Unani System of Medicine, Punjab, Dr. Narender Singh Bhardwaj, Joint Director, AYUSH, UT Chandigarh and Vd. Anil Bhardwaj, Secretary, Ayurved Mahasamelan made Co-ordination with all stake holders. In the end Dr. Naresh Mittal, Secretary, Shri Dhanwantry Education Society. Chandigarh delivered vote of thanks. and thanks to all dignities for their esteemed presence
