Dehradun, 23rd March - Every year tourists throng Uttarakhand during the start of summers, marking the same a group of 55 people from Uttar Pradesh are visiting Corbett National Park here at Ramnagar, Nainital.

Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj said, "It is pleasing to see that a group of travellers are here and exploring Uttarakhand. We will continuously work to ensure safe travel so that more and more people can come here and visit our scenic state."

Secretary Tourism, Shri Dilip Jawalkar said, "Adventure activities, wellness, yoga, and others are attracting tourists, especially in 2021. It is great to see people actively coming here and visiting Uttarakhand."

Sharing his experience, Director Arsh Tour, Mr Arshad Zaidi said, "We are Lucknow based travel company operating from 2011, visiting Uttarakhand from the same year. Every year we visit various locations like Rishikesh, Nainital,

Dehradun, Mussoorie, Haridwar and this time it is the famous Corbett National Park. We are here with 55 travellers who are mostly investors and are interested in finding a suitable location for destination weddings, corporate events, etc in Uttarakhand. This will not only promote tourism but will also bring investment here.``

Adding further in this he said that, "Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) has been a continuous help for us. I would like to thank Additional Director Mrs Poonam Chand and Deputy Director Mr Yogendra Kumar Gangwar for their support which has helped us to explore Uttarakhand further"
