Dehradun 15 Jan, 2021:-Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) in collaboration with Kutani Handpan Academy is organizing Rishikesh's first two-day-long Global Music Festival on 17 and 18 of January. Local as well as National and International artists will take part in the event.

Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said, "We are collaborating for the festival to make it more successful. We will continue to support and organize such festivals for visitors as well as local people." He further requested people to enjoy the music festival keeping Covid guidelines at topmost priority.


Sharing details about the event, Organizer Secretary and member of Kutani Handpan Academy Vedant said, " Baba Kutani, Clive Waze, Digvijay Singh Pariya from Euphoria Band, Yusuki Hosie from Japan, Neil & T2, Carina Ubero from the US, Ishqistan Band, Rajasthan folk artists Nathulal Solanki and artists who have worked with AR Rahman including local folk artists of Uttarakhand will perform in the event. The registration is free for all. The timing of the festival will be from 12 pm to 5 pm on Sundays and Mondays at Narayan Place by Salvus Rishikesh."
