CHANDIGARH-11.08.20-Organised by Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi, the Calligraphy exhibition based on the Baani of Guru Teg Bahadur ji, is going to be opened TODAY, 10th August 2020 at 5.30 pm

Three Calligraphy artists have been selected for prizes of Rs. 10,000/- , Rs. 7,000/- and Rs. 5,000/- respectively by a jury consisting of eminent personalities from various disciplines. Well known Scholar on Sikhism, Dr. Balkar Singh, senior artist Balvinder Singh and senior artist and calligraphy expert Sidharth selected 44 calligraphy artworks by 29 calligraphy artists and recommended three artworks for prizes and three other art works as Special Jury Mention.

All the selected artists are also given certificates of participation.

The prizes were given to; Jagdeep Singh- First Prize- Sahib Singh, Second Prize and Prabhsimar Kaur- Third Prize.

Gagandeep Singh, Rhea Kapur and Chhinder Pal were given Special Jury Mention.
