Chandigarh September 15, 2020: On second day of "Seva Saptah" , organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh for public service programmes to commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party workers distributed fruits, did cleanliness campaign, plantation drives and organised first Blood donation camp in which 81 units of blood were donated. State President of the party Arun Sood, State General Secretary Rambir Bhatti, Secretary Hukum Chand, Secretary Anu Makkad went to various places to increase the morale of the workers .

Providing the details of the above programmes , the party's state general secretary and convenor of this campaign, Rambir Bhatti, said that on Tuesday, fruit distribution programmes were held in district no. 1 , 2 and 3 . In District No. 2 fruits were distributed in shelter site , ashram for helpless people at Pingalwara in Palsora in the presence of State President Arun Sood, General Secretary Rambir Bhatti, Secretary Anu Makkad, District President Ravindra Pathania, District General Secretary Ravindra Rawat, Secretary Simranjit Kaur, Mandal President Narayan Prasad Nephal in which fruits were distributed and seeked blessings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi . Fruits were also distributed near the Sector 47 Kalibari Temple and at “Kusht asram” in the presence of District President Rajinder Sharma and Minority Morcha President Amjad Khan. First blood donation camp was organised by the party at the Community Center at Sector 28, under the leadership of District No. 4 President Manish Bhasin. In this camp , 81 people donated their blood. On this occasion State President Arun Sood, General Minister Rambir Bhatti, Local Councilor Shakti Prakash Devshal , Amit Rana , BJYM president Vijay Rana , Jagtar Jagga , Yashoda Anand , Bhawana Sood , Inderjeet Singh among others participated in this camp and encouraged the people who donated blood.

Today, tree plantation programs were also organized at different places under “Seva Saptah” , in which plantation drives were carried out in Sector 37 Park, Manimajra Park, Mandal 12 Malloya among other places in the presence of State President Arun Sood, Ramveer Bhatti, Dr. Hukumchand, District President Rajinder Sharma, Ravindra Pathania, Dr. Naresh etc. Yuva Morcha also planted saplings at the Shamshan Ghat, Malloya Bus Stand, Sector 38 in Maloya village.

Cleanliness drives were also organized at Mashid Park in sector 20 , at Tin Shed in Sector 52 , village Behlala , village Daria , village Kajheri, Village Raipur Khurd and various other places in the presence of Ramvir Bhatti , Hukam Chand , District Presidents Dr. Hukam Chand , Ravinde Pathania etc. on second day of Seva Saptah

On this occasion, the state president of the party Arun Sood, while expressing his views, said that on the second day of 'Seva Saptah ', the spirits of the party workers appeared to have grown even more on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Party workers are spreading the information regarding the good work done by their beloved leader Narendra Modi for the upliftment of the society among the people. Not only the workers but also general public is playing an active role in all the above campaigns. Public is also donating fruits as per their ability in this noble cause, which is a very commendable work. This shows how people are attached with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. State president Arun Sood said that People are supporting us in cleaniness drives and they are keeping homes and the area around clean. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers and people of Chandigarh for the successful organization of all the programs and said that this is real gift to prime minister Narendra Modi on his birthday .
