New Delhi, 16.06.20--PHD Rural Development Foundation (PHDRDF), a social arm of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry with support from its partner The Coca Cola India has taken the initiative to distribute juices and beverages to police warriors on duty in New Delhi. Around 1 lakh bottles of various juices like mango, apple, orange and other energy drinks were distributed among Police personals.

Mr. Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry handed over the bottles of juices to various district police stations.

Around 2000 bottles of juices were handed over to office of Special Police Commissioner, Shri S. Nityanandam for further distribution at various police stations. This initiative was taken with support from Dr. Kadambari, CEO, PHDRDF and Mr Sanjay Bhatia, Chairman, PHDRDF, who stated that it is imperative to support COVID-19 warriors at this time of crisis. It is not just the responsibility of district administration but NGOs and Industry Body Organizations also plays an equally important role in this collective fight against Corona Virus, to help and express our gratitude to the frontline people who are working in this time of crisis.

During the lock down period also, PHDRDF distributed 60,000 bottles of juices to police personnel, sanitary workers, MCD Workers, migrant labors, orphanages, and other needy people. PHD Rural Development Foundation is working constantly towards bringing smile on faces of the people through their small community efforts. Ms Anjana, Sr Program Manager PHDRDF, team of PHDRDF and PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry lend their valuable support to ensure distribution is done as per norms of physical distancing and the charity effort reached the right people.
