Chandigarh, March 25- National Health Mission (NHM), Haryana under the aegis of Health Department has established a call centre facility at SMPL, SCO-6, Sector-16, Panchkula to provide 24x7 helpline for the State people to help the people In this hour of need due to COVID-19. Helpline numbers 1075, 8558893911 (for Panchkula, Gurugram, Faridabad) 1100 (under operation) are working.

Sharing more details of about the same, an official spokesman of the Health Department said that around 40 operators have been hired and 2 lease lines have been taken with PRI facility. 60 operators can work simultaneously.

He said that the call centre has the facility to host 300 operators simultaneously. The call centre is receiving around 3000 calls daily. Apart from Corona related calls, the call centre is taking calls from the followings departments namely Food and Civil Supplies, Police, Transport, Urban Local Bodies, Industries, Education and Labour.

He further shared that all these departments are assisting the call centre by deputing their personnel there. All precautions such as social distancing, sanitation and personal hygiene are duly taken at the call centre.
