BATHINDA, FEBRUARY 19-Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda’s two scholars of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology (DoPST) shines in the recently released results of National Level Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) examination.

Nationwide, total 50,747 candidates appeared in the GPAT examination 2020 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Scholars of DoPST, Gagandeep Jaiswal and Riya Garg performed brilliantly in this national level examination and got qualified securing top positions. Riya scored the NTA score of 97 percentile, whereas, Gagandeep scored the NTA Score of 93 percentile.

On this occasion, MRSPTU, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, appreciated the spectacular achievements of DoPST Scholars.

MRSPTU, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Baldi praised his students and said that it is a proud moment for DoPST. Giving details, he said that after qualifying this examination, students can get stipend for the Ph. D. and M. Pharm courses and will also get the opportunity to do research from reputed institutes of the country. He assured full support and assistance for their future study and research projects.

Head of the department, Dr. Rahul Deshmukh and senior faculty members of DoPST including Dr. Uttam Kumar Mandal & Dr. Amit Bhatia also congratulated both the achievers and wished them all the best for their bright future.
