Giving information in this regard, Director, Haryana Urdu Academy, Panchkula, Mr. Chander Trikha said that the Chief Guest of the event is Principle Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. Rajesh Khullar.

He said that Haryana D.G.P. (Vigilance), Dr. K.P. Singh, will preside over the event. In this programme, Janab Sheen will read his research paper about Kaf Nizam MirzaGalib and Dr. Nawaz Devbandi will present his Kalam in Dr. KK Rishi, Dr. Kundan Aravali, and Mr. Mahendra Pratap Chod Urdu.

Over-night drive to check illegal mining and overloaded vehicles.
Chandigarh, February 15: Haryana Transport and Mining Minister, Mr. Mool Chand Sharma conducted an over-night drive to check illegal mining and overloaded vehicles. The checking campaign led by the Minister went from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Giving information about the same, an official spokesman said that this move against overloading and illegal mining mafia started from Faridabad. He said that during checking, 35 dumpers were impounded and Rs 25 lakh fine was imposed in Faridabad, Sohna, Tawadu, Gurugram, and Nuh areas.

He said that a team headed by the minister included officials of the mining department, RTO department officials and police officers of these districts during conducting the raid.

He said that Mr. Mool Chand Sharma gave ultimatum to mining mafia saying illegal mining and overloading of vehicles will not be permitted across Haryana. The continuous campaign will be carried out in various parts of Haryana, informed the Minister.

An official spokesman said that the police also nabbed 3 members of the mafia gang, indulged in illegal mining who were helping their gang by indicating them of checking and also impounded 3 other vehicles of the mafia gang.

He said that during this sudden raid by the minister, the dumper drivers fled from the spot, leaving their dumpers which were filled of stones. He said that the dumper drivers applied some lubricant over their vehicle number plates to deceive/ mislead the officials.

He informed that the Minister directed strict guidelines to the police station in-charges of all the areas, saying that an appropriate action would be initiated if any overload vehicles would enter the peripheral limits of any police station.

Chandigarh, February 15 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that India and Japan complement each other socially and economically. He said that Haryana is the first choice of foreign investors in the country as the state provides a congenial environment to the multinational companies. Thus, Japan will always have a prominent role in the social and economic development of the state.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the closing ceremony of the golf networking event held at Classic Golf and Country Club on Hasanpur-Tauru Road near IMT Manesar in Gurugram. The Chief Minister honored the winners of the event and also released a booklet regarding Indo-Japan Industrial Investment.

Speaking to the delegation from India and Japan, Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal said that today both the countries are acting as big partners on the international platform and many Japanese multinational companies are well established in the state. Also, in the field of trade and investment, India's partnership with Japan is moving forward, owing to a healthy relationship with the state of Haryana. There are many industrial sectors like electronics, automobiles, textiles, medical equipment, renewable energy and food processing in which Japanese companies are investing in the state providing an ideal place for these industries to flourish.

He congratulated the Strategic Investment Research team for the beginning of the Fifth Way of India-Japan Relations. He said that this team's report is a small step towards simplifying the Indian operating and financial environment for Japanese investors. The Chief Minister said that the state was playing a pivotal role in strengthening trust-based relations. He said in his address that Haryana is small in terms of area, but it contributes to 3.5 percent of the nation’s economy.

Mr. Manohar Lal said that to the representatives of Japan that Haryana is a land of opportunities, enterprises, and innovation and has an incomparable identity among the most progressive and industrially developed states of the country. He said that the state has the highest per capita income if compared to other big states of India and the Haryana's GDP is increasing at a rate of 12 percent per annum. The manufacturing and services industry contributes to about 86 percent of the state's economy. Haryana ranks first in North India and third in the country in the Ease of Doing Business according to the ranking done by the World Bank. He said that to provide industrial approval, Haryana has started a single-window system and today this is among the best systems of the country. Along with the industrial investment, the Haryana government is also focused on customer satisfaction.

He expressed happiness while communicating with the Japanese delegation that recently there has been a significant increase in the investments made by Japanese companies and the government is keen to keep maintain this relationship. The Chief Minister also thanked the Invest India team for organizing the Haryana-Japan Golf Meet.

Chief Minister encouraged the participants by presenting them with a citation and a memento during the golf networking event. He honored the event winners Rai Miano Sen, KK Sindhu and Koji Murata Sen by giving them the Spot Prize and Over All Prize for Azad Sandhu and Kulwinder Singh.

Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department, Mr. Devender Singh, spoke on the facilities and services being provided to the entrepreneurs by the Haryana Government. Giving information in this regard, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister will inaugurate three development projects on February 16, of which the Sinchai Bhawan at Narnaul, which has been built at a cost of about Rs 391 lakh will be inaugurated. Apart from this, a building in Sehlang which has been upgraded from Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) to Community Health Centre (CHC), constructed at a cost of Rs 384 lakh and a Government Veterinary Hospital building at Dongra Ahir built at a cost of Rs 35 lakh will be inaugurated.

Besides other projects are the laying of the foundation stone of a 200-bedded, Narnaul Civil Hospital, which is presently a 100-bedded hospital and will be upgraded at a cost of about Rs 4,510 lakh. In Dongra Ahir, he will lay the foundation stone of a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) with a residential complex to be built at a cost of Rs. 395 lakh and will lay the foundation stone for a new teaching building to be built at Baba Kheta Nath (BKN) Government Polytechnic College at a cost of Rs 671.50 lakh.

Chandigarh, 15 February – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has given approval to request Central Government for organizing 'Khelo India Youth Games' in Haryana in the months of November to December, 2020.

While informing this here today, an official spokesman said that a proposal of Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Haryana in this regard has been approved by the Chief Minister. He said that the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has written to the State Government regarding the same to host the 'Khelo India Youth Games' in 2020 or 2021. He said that as per the letter, 'Khelo India Youth Games' are to be organized in November-December and the approval of hosting the sports event will be taken up by the Haryana Government.

He said that 'Khelo India Youth Games' is an annual competition and is held every year. He said that the host state should have sports infrastructure and equipment with the necessary parameters for various sports events, in which the government will have to bear the cost of upgrading the infrastructure and equipment as per the requirement of Sports events. He said that there should be facility of transport, logistics, food and accommodation for the players, coaches, technical and support staff during the Sports event. Besides this, there should be required medical and security arrangements in the Sports event, he said.

The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports will provide expenditure on these sports events in the ratio of 60:40 basis..

Chandigarh, Feb 15 - In a major breakthrough, the Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has apprehended Raju Basaudi, a notorious criminal with links to the interstate criminal gang operated by Lawrence Bishnoi.

While giving this information here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police said that Raju Basaudi is wanted by the police in Haryana, Rajastan, Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi. Haryana Police had announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh for information leading to his arrest. (Rs 1 lakh by Sonipat Police, Rs 1 lakh by Jhajjar Police and Rs 50000 by Rohtak Police).

A Look Out Circular for the above accused was issued on the request of STF Haryana police recently to nab the hardcore criminal. He was arrested from the IGI Airport by STF after it was alerted by Immigration officials.

The gangster, a resident of Basaudi village in Sonipat district had emerged as a major challenge for the police of Haryana and it’s neighbouring states and he was wanted in many cases of Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Punjab.

He is closely associated with dreaded gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra, Anil Chippi, Akshay Palra, and Naresh Sethi who are lodged in different jails. His close associate Sandeep alias Kala of Jatheri has recently escaped from police custody a few days back in Faridabad.

The accused runs an extortion gang that had created terror in the area. He had given extortion calls to a number of persons in Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and Delhi. The gang is responsible for a number of sensational crimes in the area. More than two dozen cases have been registered against Raju Basaudi. He is involved in 13 cases of murder, 3 cases of attempt to murder and around a dozen cases of robbery and dacoity. His gang used social media platforms, especially Facebook to intimidate their targets or claim their role in different crimes or to give false moral and ideological colours to their gruesome murders. The gang recently carried out broad daylight murders of their rivals at Malot, Punjab and at Manimajra, Chandigarh.

The arrest of Raju Basaudi is being seen as a big success on the part of STF. He shall be produced before a Court for obtaining his police remand for his sustained custodial interrogation that is likely to give leads about in the where-abouts of his associate Kala Jatheri and also help in solving many more criminal cases of the area.

Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today inaugurated the Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Swarna Jayanti Diagnostic Center at Sector-39 in Gurugram.

Chandigarh, February 15 - Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal today inaugurated the Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Swarna Jayanti Diagnostic Center at Sector-39 in Gurugram. The Diagnostic Center has been set up in collaboration with IFFCO Tokyo and IIFCL under Shri Mata Sheetla Devi Puja Sthal Board, Municipal Corporation and CSR. For 10 years, the responsibility of building the Diagnostic Center, installing machinery in it and to operate, has been given to HLL, under the Government of India.

On the occasion, speaking to the media persons, the Chief Minister said that the public will get benefit after the start of this lab. He said that in this center, people living below the poverty line will be given free health facilities, while others will avail it at the nominal CGHS rates as compared to the current market. He said that this is an important initiative for which other institutions of the society should also come forward to benefit the people of the society.

An official spokesman said that in this center, all types of diagnostic services will be available at reasonable rates which mainly include X-rays, ultrasound, city scan, liver functioning test, all types of blood tests, etc. He said that it will also have a waiting room for patients. He said that the test facility will be available in this lab at a reasonable price than the diagnostic tests conducted in Gurugram at other labs. For example, chest X-ray is of Rs 250 on other health organizations whereas in this center it will be done for only Rs 60, he said

He said that in this center, TMT will be tested for only Rs 489 which is of Rs 1500 on other health check-up centers. In the center, ECG of Rs 50 rupees, lever functioning of Rs 255, liquid profile of Rs 200, he said
