Chandigarh, 07 Feb 2020. Shri VP Singh Badnore, Administrator of U.T. Chandigarh & Governor of Punjab felicitated the cadets at Raj Bhawan who brought laurals to the city beautiful by participating in National level Republic Day Camp in New delhi. Airwing cadets who were part of the ceremony were Cadet Aditi, Cadet Paras Sharma and Cadet Rohit Rangra from PGGC, Sector 11 and Cadet Tanu Jarwal & Cadet Gunjan from DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh.

Cadet Aditi has been adjudged as “All India Second Best Airwing Girl Cadet at National level” while Cadet Tanu Jarwal was selected as Guard Commander to command and present Guard of Honour to Air Chief Marshal R K S Bhadauria, Chief of Air Staff. It is indeed cadet’s hard work and instructor’s training which has made all of us feel proud. Every NCC cadet dreams of being a part of the Republic Day Parade Contingent, Delhi, which is indeed the most prestigious achievement, said Group Captain M R Pandeya, CO, Ex Cadet Air wing NCC.

Before RDC the cadet has to face many Inter unit and Inter-Group Competitions for which the training at unit level starts from the month of September itself. NCC Republic Day Camp is the culmination of all NCC Training activities, said Wing Commander Srinivas, Training Officer, Chandigarh Air wing NCC.
