CM directs officers to restore all essential services in the state

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the Public Works Department has been directed to clear the roads closed due to heavy snow in different parts of the State so that commuters do not face any inconvenience. He was having an informal talk with the media, here today.

Chief Minister said that all the Deputy Commissioners have also been asked to ensure that all essential services are restored in the areas affected due to heavy snowfall in the State.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the officers of Irrigation and Public Health Department had also been directed to ensure earlier restoration of water supply in the affected areas adding that the HPSEB had also been asked to take appropriate steps to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Chief Minister appealed to the general public to be more alert and be precautious during snowfall and cooperate with the government and administration.

Jai Ram Thakur greeted the people of the State on Lohri and Makar Sankranti and wished that these festivals bring prosperity and happiness in the lives of the people.
