CHANDIGARH,13.01.20-National Service Scheme Unit of National Institute of Nursing Education, PGIMER, Chandigarh inaugurated 7 days special regular camp (day and night) at NINE Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh. 152 NSS Volunteers along with Programme Officer Meenakshi Agnihotri and Shabana Parveen will be participating in the camp at Village Sarangpur and NINE PGI Campus. A camp was inaugurated by Shri Bikram Rana, State Liaison Officer, NSS. He encouraged and Sensitized volunteers to get connected to community and develop personality so that youth can contribute in overall development of the nation. A cultural programme was organized by NSS volunteers in the presence of Dr, Karobi Das, Principal, NINE and faculty. During the 7 days camp volunteers will participate in various activities like Health Survey, Health Mela, Health Education campaign, Swatch Bharat Abhiyan at Village Sarangpur. The volunteers will conduct Self Defence Training, Road Safety Campaign, Jal Sanrakshan Abhiyan, Ek Bharat Sareshat Bharat Campaign. The Principal, Dr. Karobi Das has also appreciated the programme.
