Arrested for MV Theft

A case FIR No. 240, U/S 379 added 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Krishan Kumar R/o SCO No. 134, First Floor, Sector-24/D, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person stole away M/Cycle No. CH14L7432 parked near SCO No. 134, Sector-24D, Chandigarh on 10.12.2019. Later two persons namely Kamal Kumar R/o # 3023 Sector-24, Chandigarh and Abishekh R/o # 2489 Sec-24, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 145, U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the statement of Rajinder Singh R/o # 2993, Khudda Lohara, Chandigarh against driver of Audi car No. CH-01AV-0013 namely Shiv Raj Singh R/o # 2081 Sector-50/C, Chandigarh who hit to Auto No. CH-01TA-8948 driven by Sunil Kumar R/o # 823, Village Dariya, Chandigarh near dividing road, Sector-20/21, Chandigarh on 13-12-2019. Auto driver Sunil Kumar and one passenger in Auto namely Vasant Dev Appa Enkle R/o # 46/A/5, Aradi Vaddu Gurim Napusa, Kalika Bardez, Distt. North Goa, Goa both got injured and lifted to Hospital where Sunil Kumar declared brought dead at GH-16 and Vasant Dev expired during treatment at PGI, Chandigarh. Driver of car arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Mann Singh R/o # 311, Village-Saketri, Panchkula, (HR) reported that unknown person stole away Platina M/Cycle No. HR03M3881 from Parking Gurudwara Sector-46, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 308, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 385, U/S 420, 467, 468, 120B, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Sanjeev Madaan, Excise & Taxation Department, Sector 17C, Chandigarh against Anuradha R/o # 160, Khudda Jassu, Chandigarh who willful submitted misstatement and fake rent deed for applying for GSTIN and during the period of registration transaction of taxable supplies of goods was made for huge amount which was liable to deposit the due tax & penalty of Rs. 9,10,36,540/-. The GSTIN was cancelled vide order dated 25.01.2019. Alleged person intentionally generated bogus invoices of sales and received bogus invoices of purchase from date of registration to evade the tax. Investigation of case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 386, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Deepa Chaudhary, Excise & Taxation Department, Sector 17C, Chandigarh against Rajeev Kumar R/o # 662 first floor Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who willful submitted misstatement for applying for GSTIN and during the period of registration transaction of taxable supplies of goods was made for huge amount which was liable to deposit the due tax & penalty of Rs. 5,10,94,466/-. The GSTIN was cancelled vide order dated 11.02.2019. Alleged person intentionally generated bogus invoices of sales and received bogus invoices of purchase from date of registration to evade the tax. Investigation of case is in progress.
